The reason the 'Boysenberry' flavor has an almost indistinguishable taste is because it is a 'Man-made' hybrid berry; A Blueberry & a Marionberry. The boysenberry was developed in the early 1920s by horticulturist Rudolph Boysen of Anaheim, California, who later turned it over to farmer Walter Knott for commercial development and Mass production. The KNOTTS BERRY FARM Story is very interesting. Mr. KNOTT actually loaned Walt Disney the money to buy the acreage that Disneyland now sits on.

Homemade biscuits made fresh and huge portions of sides and that chicken is iconic. Hope you hit it up for some content again soon. Definitely goes all the way up like cuzzo says 💯❤❤😀

If you go to Knott's again, you've got to go to their restaurant and have the fried chicken and the boysenberry pie. It's the meal they're know for. If it's a hot day, a boysenberry slushy goes down real nice.

I shouldn't date myself but it used to be free to go inside Knott's until 1968. The word was they started charging to enter to discourage the hippies from from hanging out all day. Forty years ago Mrs Knott's chicken restro had great fried chicken but the last time I went (approx 30 years ago) the chicken pieces were so small and and not good at all and I never returned. Now some of the dishes in the video almost make me want to go back. I really enjoy your videos Eric.
