LATRYGUY, my personal opinion, go to southern Louisiana and get some Cajun food, crawfish etouffee, get invited to a crawfish boil done in a big black kettle in the backyard with everyone standing around long tables, Cajun chicken stew and of course gumbo, and on and on. Ok I sent u to Louisiana Charlie's. Can't believe u went there and didn't try the gumbo fries! Those are delicious! I had cat fish/ grilled shrimp... scrumptious. My sister had gumbo fries. Next time i go i will definitely try the bbq, because it looks good ❤😊

Tried it for the first time last month with my family visiting from New York…it was okay..my favorite item on the menu was the sweet tea 😐. My mom had the crab boil and she took it home and remixed the sauce…a more spicier more flavorful version and had to remix the ribs…which tasted like cloyingly sweet barbecue sauce. My gumbo was missing pizazz. Taste mainly of salt…
