I agree with liking the knitting because it's tedious. It's something that allows me to slow down, do something different, and do something productive with my hands instead of doom scrolling on Instagram. And the finished products at the end are pretty awesome too!!

EXACTLY. I like to knit while watching tv/knitting podcasts, and it makes me feel like I have something to show for that downtime!

I think you did an AMAZING job for a newish knitter. Give yourself a lot of credit for doing intarsia and self drafting a pattern. You are well on your way to being an excellent knitter. Bravo 👏🏻

Your Wednesday Sweater Vest is so cool. I really like your Stockholm V Neck Slipover, Monday Sweater, and Stockholm Sweater V Neck. Alpaca irritates my skin as well. I am so happy that you spoke about the high twist issue. I don't like it when one stitch looks straight and the other stitch is super twisted. My husband also thinks that I don't look like I'm having fun while knitting. He thinks it looks tedious as well. But I'm having the time of my life! LOL 😄

I love your knits! If you want to wear your slipover in the winter, pair it with a turtle neck, same with your My favorite knitwear sweater. 😊

Okay why did I never think of this! I wore a turtle neck under my Stockholm Slipover to work today, and it looked great! Thanks for the suggestion!

Maybe you could make everyone in your family socks for next Xmas, that way you can work throughout the year and experiment with different patterns if you want to

I think my biggest concern is that you have put so much time and money into sweaters that you don’t wear. I love the things that I make for me and for gifts. I wear my to death!
