I feel the exact same way regarding cost yarn/projects. I try not to feel bad when the project is over 100 because when put into perspective it’s 130 for WEEKS of entertainment. That’s a good deal if you ask me. So even if the project didn’t turn out the way I wanted, the yarn served it’s purpose

I know you keep saying you're being nit picky, but I think it's great that you know what you do and don't like! Makes it less likely that you'll make those projects that seem beautiful in theory and then when you finish it's like 😐 ...I need to get better at this! I often get sucked into the beauty of a shiny new pattern

Love your new video setup! Excellent job on your Porcelain Sweater. I would send the wheat yarn back. That's just my two cents. 😁

When i counted the sleeve pattern i got an odd number (75 instead of 76), and just ended up doing the last stitch as the next intended stitch. It still doesnt correlate as the body does, but it definitely looks way better, and symmetrical around the start and end of row. I also used some colour-stripe techniques to make it less ofset as i see yours is (just an idea till your next colourwork).

Love the new background! Very cozy! Your porcelain sweater is gorgeous, and I can't wait to see your finished April cardigan! That color is so gorgeous. Just a word of caution regarding the sock blockers: I find they really cause the cuff to get loose. Blocking out the ribbing (in my opinion) defeats the purpose of making a stretchy cuff to keep the socks from sliding down. So, I don't actually block my socks UNLESS they're going to be a gift for someone and I want them to look nice for presentation (they do tend to shrink back up and gain back the elasticity after a wash). I just use them to take nice photos of my finished socks for my Ravelry page. For the Musselburgh, if you really want the folded brim, I've used a totally different yarn to finish off the decreases before when I've not had quite enough yarn. It folds up in on itself, so you don't really see it. Just choose a color roughly the same color as your main skein so it doesn't show through!

That is really good to know about the sock blockers! I still haven’t tried on the sock, but I will definitely pay attention to that when I do. And I can’t believe I didn’t think of adding a different yarn to the Musselburg! Thank you so much - that is probably exactly what I will do

I am knitting the Magnolia Bloom Sweater in Biches & Buches yarn at the moment. Feels like art, and not just because of how expensive the yarn was (ouch!) :))

That pattern is so beautiful!! If I’m being honest, expensive yarn automatically makes me think that a project is slightly fancier lol! Probably a dangerous mindset to slip into…

Can you sell the cream yarn to someone locally (or at least in the US)?

Probably! Selling it might also give me a chance to get plugged into my local knitting community!
