I also hold my pen that way! But only when I do art, not for writing (so weird I know). When you said that I was like 😮. I used to get SO much shit for it since I went to architecture school and they basically re-teach you how to draw. I came up with my own mantra ~~ it doesn’t matter how you hold the pen, it’s what you do with it! ~~And considering how pretty your doodles are, it should be your mantra too!! 🎨

Red, white and royal blue is an INCREDIBLE audiobook - the actor they got to read the book is fantastic and elevated the story. It’s a witty, romantic and engrossing book about a relationship between the Prince of Wales and the American president’s son. I’m not usually a romance reader so don’t let the genre turn you away if that’s not usually your vibe (I also ADORED the midnight library and it was what I read prior to this book)

I am a huge audiobook lover!Audible has enabled me to listen to so many books within the past 3 years.Last year I finished 30 books just on that app with my full time small understaffed wholesale and retail Greenhouse business which I am the resident manager and jack of all trades.I also listen to a lot of free audiobooks I find here on KZbin.Sometimes they are broken down a few chapters per video which makes it manageable to keep up with.I love it!I also want to try that paper cover for my IPad.

Huge audiobook fan here, especially because I used to spend a lot of time stuck in Montreal traffic... Don't know what genre you like, but one of the best narrators I've ever listened to is in the sci-fi series called Red Rising by Pierce Brown. Highly recommend!

Thanks for the update Jamie! I used my rewards to get the Skinfix hand cream too! (Haven't used it yet because trying to use up a couple other hand creams) I love your eyeshadow look. (guessing it's the AURIC eyeshadows???) I have a sage green sweater, so I need to try to replicate your look. Gorgeous! I also tried the waver look because I saw that AD did it on her channel. Didn't work out so great for me. It looked like an 80s perm that was fading. I'm not giving up! I am going to try to perfect it...I really like these lifestyle favorites videos. They seem very personable. Like you are only talking to me (like we are FaceTime'ing each other). You're a friend in my head Jamie! LOL!

Hah! I saw the notification for this pop up on my laptop and immediately thought "Jamie Page Doodles." As a fellow painter and art collector, I am obsessed. I hit the restock like it was a Pat McGrath launch and will have to place another order soon because I keep thinking of people who would love my sticker choices and have found several places in my house where a specific print would liven it up. I think I'll have a wee collage in my office with Monstera prints as a background for zoom calls. I'll see when my print arrives, but that was sheer joy for me this month, especially because I haven't been able to get to my local bookshop where I like to buy quirkly prints and statement stickers. I love audible too! Some of my recent faves have been the Scythe series from Neal Shusterman (3 books), I like The Rules of Magic by Alice Hoffman (which is a prequel to Practical Magic - remember that movie with Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock), Where the crawdads sing, The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo, we are the ants, i’ll give you the sun by Jandy Nelson, Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, Little fires everywhere, and if you’re looking for a good middle grade series à la Harry Potter check out Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend. Such a great series!

Audio book recommendation: recently finished American Dirt (it was controversial, but I liked it), Trevor Noah Born a Crime (he narrates), Educated (Tara Westover), The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks to name a few I’ve enjoyed on Audible. Love you channel Jaime!

For cooking, I recommend you the delicioulsyella app, it's amazing ! There are over 600 plant based recipes, 200 fitness/yoga videos etc. I downloaded it a week ago and I'm already obsessed, I've tried two recipes and they were so so tasty !! Her podcasts are really interesting too 😊

Ok so not that I go by any "rules" per se......but when it comes to waver tools there is one that I follow because I think it looks more aesthetically pleasing. And that is to start the waves at your eye line and not the scalp. Its much more chic and will look better, I promise!

🙏🏻 I wanna thank you for inspiring me to go back to my childhood hobby - of course it was art and drawing. After your recommendation few months ago I bought iPad Pro and Apple Pencil and I love love LOVE it! 😄 Now I doodle every day, iPad is always somewhere near me, I try new brushes in Procreate. I’m still a bit rusted but I can see progress. And it’s so relaxing! This pandemic winter is taking it’s toll on me but drawing is my distraction from reality. I love Audible, I have always been a voracious reader, but find myself unable to sit still anymore. I love being able to listen while I do other things. Here are a few favorite books..Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, The Elegance of the Hedgehog, The Book Thief and the Frieda Klein series by Nicci French!! I loved The Midnight Library!!
