I really liked this video from you. It was very genuine and feels very personal, which it is. As a person also going through some thinning, I found this very informational and inspiring. I’m not sure what you did, maybe the music or less transitions/more talking, but whatever it is, it made an awesome and relatable video. Excellent job. I’m going to look into these products and procedures asap. Thanks and keep up the great work and content!

Been taking oral minoxidil 2.5mg twice daily and 0.5mg dutasteride every other day as soon as I noticed my hair was thinning. I also do microneedling with the Derminator 2-3x a month as well as apply rosemary/pumpkin seed oil to scalp 2x a week. My hair grew back stronger as ever 3 years later now that I'm 30.

The best thing I did to solve my insecurities about hair thinning and hair lost was getting a psychologist. Improved my relationships and self-esteem. Hair transplants, minoxidil and fenisteride might have solved the hair problem for me but they would only have temporarily solved the foundational problem that was lack of self esteem

As a guy who just started the same treatments, and who learns from your videos, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! p.s. did you ever watch More Plates More Date's videos on these treatments? Mine was thinning...not too bad for my age (I'm 47), but more than I like. I started Minoxidil when I was 42 and it did slow maybe even stop growth. I also use LIpogaine Big 5 shampoo 3x a week and the conditioner daily. Anyhow, while this stuff did slow the thinning down, I still decided to get the transplant last year. Pretty happy with the results of that, but I feel like if I would have started taking better care of it 20 years earlier I wouldn't have needed the transplant.

First of all, fala, tio, blz? Well, finasteride: take care, it takes a while, but the hunger does decrease. Been there... after covid, my hair started falling and never stopped, and stress was a HUGE factor. I had to quit finasteride because it was affecting my sexual life, and minoxidil wasn't an option because of a very sensitive scalp. Things started to change after I quit the old job and found some good shampoo + conditioner + serum. Today, it's under control, no threads on the floor anymore.

I thought I was having a heart attack, actually. Something to keep in mind. After reading up on the topic, many other guys in their 30s have experienced the same, but it may be dose dependent which is why I'm considering 2% once a day instead.

I'm 18 and recently I've started noticing hair thinning and a little bit of hair loss...I've started taking biotin, I also read about DHT and its impact on male hair and I ordered DHT Blocker gummies... Right now, I plan on oiling my hair once a week, I've researched and figured out a couple of meditation and yoga poses that help stimulate nerves that are connected to our hair follicles and also reduce stress...Since I go to the gym so I'll be using a mild shampoo and also bcoz of my workout my diet and sleep stays on point every single day. Sorry but the gummies will not do anything at all. The natural route won't do anything either. I am telling you this because I'm 18 now and wasted a year doing the "natural route" with hair vitamins and biotin. My hairline receded significantly during the time I was 17-18 and I regret not starting some form of topical finasteride to at least keep some ground. If you want to truly inhibit DHT there is no other option besides the pharmacological route with prescription medication, finasteride or dutasteride. I take finasteride and minoxidil as a pill but ideally at 18 you want to use some sort of topical formulation. I know keeps sells a formula with minoxidil and finasteride combined. If you have an id, you can ask for it after seeing a doctor virtually. Or, you can go to a dermatologist willing to prescribe finasteride pills 1mg and buy rogaine foam and apply the foam to your head twice a day.

Well I've been doing everything I wrote for a month now and it's working.. not sure about the DHT blocker but biotin work like magic, maybe it's bcoz I noticed my hair thinning in the first few days. But yeah, these things do work if you stick to the schedule. Although I'm not sure about the DHT blocker tablets but I have a feeling that they're working since I've noticed a reduce in hair loss. Peace out

If your hair loss really is androgenic alopecia, none of the things you mentioned will work. The only thing that is going to work is a DHT blocker like finasteride. The problem with male pattern baldness once it gets going the only way to really reduce it is to lower androgens but then that means lowered sex drive, energy levels and other stuff. I'm 38 and thinning a bit on the crown, not drastically but it's becoming noticeable, I'm kinda growing my hair around it so I have a bit of a comb over, now you wouldn't think I'm thinning but over time this might get harder to disguise once I have zero hair on top. Balding sucks.

All your videos are awesome and thank you for all these informations. I have a question for you, is it good to use minoxidle twice a day? And when and how can I use rosemary or any other oils, while I am using minoxidle on the same day twice? Can you please help me with this???

I’m literally 15 and I’m thinning. And where I’m from, it’s quite impossible to get the products that Alex recommends. Is there any way I can fix my hairs?

The Salon Guy is doing just fine. im 52 with a full head of hair and a hot AF 22 year old girlfriend, but if i was thinning id shave it all off and grow a beard. its a cool as f*ck look and im thinking about doing it anyway. going bald isn't what it used to be guys! just go with it, it can be sexy as f*ck and even sexier than a full head of hair if you do it right!! c'mon guys!!! you da man n you got this!!

I am 17 and I am already balding. My temples have no hair. I am not genetically prone to balding because none of my parents or grandparents are bald but I am pretty sure I am going bald since 14. A couple of years ago , a dermatologist prescribed 2% minoxidil but it didn't worked. I cried about it everyday back then . But now I am used to it. My friends even say to me to grow a fringe because they feel pity for me for having this bad hairline and thickness. What's your opinion on this ?

I recommend that once you turn 18 to hop immediately on finasteride. It's not as scary as many make it out to be. Look up haircafe on KZbin, he'll ease your worries. You can make a comeback my friend. I'm 18 and I'm now 6 months into treatment. Temples are coming back. Just do the best you can. Reach out to a dermatologist that will prescribe it for you. I've heard people starting treatment from 14-16 years old.

Thanks for mentioning the stress thing... I wasn't sure if it becomes a permanent issue or reversable once the stress subsides.
