The dresses are so pretty! Can you do another series where you sew outfits from old movies from the 1940s and 50’s. Some of the wardrobes in those films are so beautiful

@@TheClosetHistorian You totally inspire me to do it! I didn't start my sewing journey from patterns but from making re-enactment clothes for iron age and early mediaeval times where cuts are very simple and there are no patterns around. I like the 80's-90's Mugler like look. It is so pretty and creative, I've seen 2 or 3 full shows here on youtube (one was bug themed) and seen recent collections. To be honest, most of the stuff of today's shows are dissapointing compared to the old Mugler collections. So I'm really glad I see here tailoring. Have a happy and lucky new year!

@@TheClosetHistorian yeah, now they use strechy fabrics made out of plastic and most of them are seethrough, which I hate. I think the clothes what they make today doesn't need the precision, what the old ones needed. I need to confess, I have one embossed cherry red leggings (it has an interesting pattern) from the 2020 collection maybe, and I love it, but I still think the old ones are better.
