I think we have a lot in common..I wish my KZbin channel was my full time job, but I'm an esthetician. My perfect life would be directing and writing novels. We also have very similar esthetics, too, but I looovvvvveee me some cardigans. Haha ❤ PS also have three cats- 2 orange and one grey... and a neighborhood black cat has been coming around and hanging out with me, but he only comes inside sometimes. I need to get help with my accurate measurements so I can get my sloper down, I feel much better with the idea of making whatever I want based off a sloper, because patterns are expensive, and I always have to modify them, anyway.

This video is 4 years old and as a fashion design student, this book and version is still being used. I finished my first year of school this spring and we got to "design" a bodice from basic measurements and pre-prepped slopers. We don't get to do drafting until Advanced Pattern Making (this upcoming spring semester) so getting to know how to read the book for this through you is a godsend because I wanna make clothing for me! That fits ME! Thank you!

those look great! a tip to make zipping and unzipping easier - add pull tabs to the ends of the taco. it'll help you not to open the bag too far, and will help with getting a good grip for zipping closed again.

These are all stunning! Bags are always an interesting engineering challenge. This is a really cool project, I like what you did with it. While watching I was trying to decide if I made this style how I would sew the zipper in without having it go fully to the fold. I'm a klutz and I am pretty sure I would have everything slide out of that accidently. But I would absolutely try my hand at one of these to carry to a fancy event.

Have you considered a gusset, the zipper panel and it should work well for you. I’ve been making bags and using different stabilizers, decovil heavy and light.

Once again, you show what a sewing artist you are! These clutches are great. With the mesh insert, for structure, how do they feel in your hand? I'm big on zipped pockets inside my bags, so I will definitely add one in my future half-circle bag. I don't have a Cricut, so I won't be cutting any vinyl, but I also won't be making one anytime soon, just at some point...Anyway, I've missed your vlogs! Wi-Fi and computer issues have kept me away since April! I've got a lot of catching up to do.
