keep in mind that i read a lot for this channel so i have more time & opportunity than most people do - it's totally ok to be in a reading slump sometimes or to have other things going on in your life than books!! reading is supposed to be fun, not something that you force yourself to do - just keep picking up the books that you really in your heart of hearts want to read and know that however much you're able to get through you're killing it

Some really great thoughts on the Ministry of Time! You touched on a lot of points that I struggled with in the book, I keot vacillating back and forth about what I thought about as well. If you haven’t discovered it yet, Olivia Atwood has a new book called The Witchwood Knot and it’s a darker story set in the same universe. I found her through a Kickstarter for a gorgeous edition of it and pledged just based on the author’s writing for the campaign. It’s a fantastic book in my opinion, easily a 4.5 star for me. Anyways I think you’d really enjoy it!

The best slow burn I’ve read recently was Phoenix Unbound by Grace Draven! It’s also enemies to lovers but it feels very authentic and the relationship progresses in a way that actually makes sense. Def recommend!
