I did the exact same thing for my wedding! I also got my hair done by my sister and my nails by my mother in law, and I did my makeup, the cake was made by my mom and my friends helped me with the decorations. That helped me save up money for the honeymoon ❤

Highly recommandable :) My twin got her wedding dress for 100 € (original price 2000 €). You can save SO much! I got most of my decoration secondhand and now it's my home decoration (I didn't have much decor stuff before). Rented the rest, didn't have to bother with selling it afterwards.
