Very unhappy with the nerfs. It feels like a personal attack. If they're going to wreck my favorite toys, at least give me something to replace them. The SR1 nerf is a big one. On paper it looks destroyed. I'll do a few minutes of the PTS to see but man does it look bad.

One thing that could trigger a revolt... The group leader is the only one to get credit for scout activities so they better not include any activities that require "complete such and such in a group". The pitchforks and torches would fly. lol

Why do they always have to nerf our favorite weapons and gear? Just buff the shitty stuff that no one ever uses. This is just as bad an idea as seasonal characters was. I swear these devs never listen to the community. Classic example would be the DZ in Div 2. Its like they learned nothing from what we said about Div 1. Just idiots

@@imonyourside8376 if you look at the patch with clarity you’ll notice that the nerfs aren’t that bad and/or can be good in return with different setups. For example the slight status effect nerfs. Look at what they did to Prepetuation and the AMP status weapon talents.

Personally to nerf so many gearsets & weapons its one of many bad moves these devs have done to D2. I do totally understand why because essentially the player base just isnt using the other gear or weapons but thats not the player base's fault. For this type of game the players are always going to go for the best builds, the devs are the ones that created the gear & weapons so if players arent using the stuff they are creating thats a devs problem. They need to step up what they are making, if you make boring gear & weapons no one is going to use it. So by nerfing the good stuff all you are going to do is severely turn players away.

I’ve often heard the excuse for nerfing is ‘power creep’ but what is that? And why does it matter in PVE when we’ve pretty much maxed out everything and can’t get any stronger.

What’s the point of ever doing an incursion if they have just nerfed the Ouroborosto into the dirt. Normal smg’s will now have more ammo capacity then your raid exclusive smg.

They sure put a hell of a lot of time into making tiny adjustments to a lot of weapons that are more or less going to have about the same sustained DPS anyways. But, they buffed some things that really didn’t need it & it’s likely going to cause some issues. This is not a good “balancing” attempt. There are some things I’m seeing on that list that are going to be significantly overpowered. The minor Obliterate & Striker nerfs are obvious passive aggressive move against the player base, 17% for Obliterate now, really? That 8% was a problem? Give me a break.

I get the frustration. However, St. Elmo’s & Oroborous are still going to be top tier in their respective weapon categories. Striker will still be one of the best DPS gearsers. That new exotic holster in the list - using it with Striker looks like you could get a serious DPS bump. Groupo and Ceska have been nerfed? Okay, it sucks, but why can’t you use a Fenris & Walker piece with Striker? Or 2 Walker pieces? More multiplicative damage from DTA in the latter. There are plenty of options still available. We’ve spent a lot of time looking at the negatives of this balancing, and I share in the sentiment to some degree but they have added several new options & buffs for amplified damage. Versatile has been slept on for a long time - we use that in Descent heavily, straight up amplified damage, perfect for AR/SMG and Shotgun/SMG builds.

Weapons and gear have received buffs and nerfs for years, you know that it can happen. It used to cost far more in exotic components to upgrade things. It’s nowhere near as much of a “waste” now. Besides, don’t act like you aren’t still going to be running St Elmo’s & Striker after the patch. The brand pieces, yeah you’ll likely need to change them. But rarely do I see anybody even bother going above expertise 12, unless they are hardcore PvP players. You want a refund on exotic components? Come on Karen, don’t be silly.

The main question anyone should be asking when it comes to The Division 2 is, what has Ubisoft done to stop the cheaters? Buff / nerf whatever they want. What about the main issue: THE CHEATERS Unless everyone just wants to do the same PvE missions they've been doing for the last 5 years or so for the same loot and gear. Got to be boring don't you think? Anyways, I'm glad I uninstalled that game. Can't even participate in the PTS. Just keep leaving it for PC players only who probably have the most bugs. Oh well ...

@@empgkrazer_5124it’s just a set that everyone uses because it’s meta and the majority of players don’t know how to create their own build Ms and think for themselves. Everyone uses it…like 90% of players lol. I threw mine away. Well anyway in all seriousness the nerfs in general are really not all that bad over all. The mod changes are a big part of that. It allows people to use more attributes. I like the changes. It’s good to see the meta finally shift even if it’s just a little.

This is heinous. Being forced to play the way they want us to. Seriously this is like Bungie's BS with Destiny 2 in regards to progression...seriously why am I going to be forced to buy some garbage from a vendor just to progress in the game...let alone aquire ( loot ) 45 pieces of gear....utter garbage! Just like in Destiny 2 this going to be nothing but a chores list...absolutely heinous!
