This is horrendous, I’ve maxed out my modules and the fun part about the current system is the ability to swap and change modules as I go. I can use my maxed modules on my Ao Jun then swap to my Cerebus, then to my Shell, whatever. Now, I’ll need to unlock and max out every single module on every bot and I’m losing time, money, customization and simplicity!? 🤯😡 The drone rework was balls but this is even worse, modules are so impactful and flat out necessary. Extermination mode is impossible without good modules, being competitive requires modules. And I don’t even want to imagine how much more costly it’ll be to change the titans 🤦. Awful addition, like the executioner module, we gotta join forces to stop this. It’s getting very frustrating that Pixionic can’t understand that less is more and stuff like this only causes trouble.

Pixo learned already 7 years ago that they can do whatever they want because the player base clearly tolerate the abuse and those who leave are replaced by new players. Negative comments doesn't do anything if you ultimately agree by paying 🤷 (what Pixo realized in 2017-8) I'd suggest leave the game while you are enraged. If time passes you will (once again) get used to it. If possible leave also a negative rating/comment in the app store. Just to save new tender souls from addiction, frustration and ultimate sadness😅

Basically, Pixos employee morale was suffering given the backlash of the players, BUT key metrics were in good shape. He was talking about the introduction of the first dash-bots! They clearly learned that the community is bi-polar and the game is still attractive. So, it's difficult to blame them 🤷

Been playing for 8 yrs. Pix doesn’t seem to understand that mostly players want to run around and shoot at reds. Instead of working on things that players ask for like better MM, promoting squadding for clans, lag, etc. they come up with unnecessary changes. They waste a lot of effort on things like “back stories” I’ve never read even one. They have made some positive changes but when they come up with a really bad idea they seem to go all in. They don’t seem to understand the basic player at all.

Before, all you really needed were 15 maxed modules that could be interchanged onto the next meta bot, but now you need to invest even more into each robot by buying more resources, making them more money. You are nothing but a tool, a means to make them more money, and they don't care what you invested. Predator and other content creators need to stop trying to find reasons for the questionable actions Pixonic keeps taking. It's always about money.

Such things get tossed around in consumer courts. Just because you have some ToS doesn't mean you can change something that's already been bought by a consumer. Big example being Genshin Impact, they changed a slight mechanic which wasn't even related to their product directly but cases popped up in China as the consumers were dissatisfied. They company not only reverted the change but also gave in game currency as rewards to everyone.

The problem is: they created 3 perfect modules with perfect synergy (the amplifiers) and now they have no idea how they can create a new module that players are willing to buy. But what is their solution? To rework the stats on old modules and nerf the perfection of the amplifiers, allowing new modules to be made? No, let's rework the entire system and make one that you have less freedom of cutomization on your robot + with a new currency (the aspect that players absolutly love, right?) This is another step in removing the fun of the game which is easy and quick custom robot/weapon builds. The first was pilots, where the pilot training and weapons were tied together so swapping weapons to try a new build means losing pilot skills until you either retrain or re-equip the weapons. Re-training cost money and starts you back at level 1. Now with this you will not be able to swap modules to other robots..

This is all very simple to understand, it’s another money grab. I don’t say that lightly, but by introducing yet another currency AND tying it to your robots’ capabilities they have made it more “expensive” to upgrade. Either you will have to wait longer to accumulate all of the currency that you need, or you will have to buy it with hard currency. That is Pixonic’s main goal in all of these changes, whether it’s pilots or drones or modules, the introduction of an additional currency makes it harder to upgrade and so tempts players to pay. Like it, don’t like it, that’s the business model. Oh, and don’t forget that installing these modules is PERMANENT, there is no provision to swap them out if you change your mind or a better module is released. If you want to do that you have to get another robot and start over.

Just give every bot same module set. If the rhino beats a behemoth so be it. I have been playing for 8yrs now and I wanna play my golem and stuff. I don't have meta weapons so it's not like I can use those old bots in a game..
