1. Where the heck is the your tip or "thanks" button? 2. Nuclear waste - I'm glad they finally fixed nuclear waste closer to reality, even if it's expensive or complicated. As an engineer who has worked around real reactors, the sheer nonsense that was the amount of waste was "misinformation" levels of infuriating. Reactors I've worked on are fully adjustable, stoppable, and only needed a "fuel change" once every ~30yrs and the volume of the entire containment, most of it being shielding, wasn't much bigger than a moving van. 3. Really like the way you presented all the changes and new stuff here in creative mode.

main drawback to the Dimensional storage is no Output attach to it. Its good for Building up the factory and syncing items into it.

I remember surprising a friend with a tube cannon in a multiplayer world. It was hilarious, because he had no idea what the things were. He came back to the base through the hyper tube, flew right into the cannon, and got sent directly into orbit. (No he didn't lose items, I was careful about saving BEFORE the prank.)

probably an underappreciated change being portable miners now stack, so no more placing one down, putting another in your hands, and repeating. it's very fast to place multiple now. also having them stack is great for inventory and setting up multiple miners

@@skyosgaming6937 and also the automated miner recipe is just iron plates and steel pipe, which combined with stacking actually makes it kinda tempting. I’ve still not bothered taking it on the multiple times it’s been offered in my save, but I imagine once you need lots of MK3 miners it comes in handy.

The one caveat to the new storage is only the player can access the stored goods, you can't use it to cut out transport for the factory as a whole.

17:19 you can handcraft SAM fluctuators, you don't necessarily need the manifacturer. So to make a dimensional depot you only need steel pipes to research it, you don't even need steel to build it

I love the idea of cloud item storage having an up and download rate. It's fast enough for exploration and big build projects, perfect for high value/slow output products but well under the useful rate for bulk materials without major investment.

There's no output, so you can't use it for bulk transportation anyways.

@@wta1518 thanks for pointing it out. At around 16:45 I thought there were item outputs from the cloud. Got excited because I wanted to isolate some of the super complex components and port them over to the space elevator. Maybe finally make the mountain top factories that eats train fuel like crazy. I'm not nearly efficient enough to get over some of the high level scaling issues and end up with rail networks dedicated to bulk low-mid level logistics and the high value trains gumming up the works with how irregular it ends up being.

I really really really want to see a 100% power setup. In other words, a world where you get the maximum amount of power possible from a single world. This means using all the new machines and components to make the absolute maximum amount of power possible, with no consideration for consumption. Of course the issue becomes, how do you get rid of the Plutonium waste, and if there is a way to refurnish the material, we need to do so. POWER

A 100% power setup is now made easier due to plutonium waste now being able to turn into a new fuel rod that doesn't produce waste.

@@Seraphim_1172 right. The only issue now is the math. I want to know what it would take to produce the maximum amount of power. This assumes that the infrastructure is prebuilt as to not waste resources, and that everything is going toward producing the largest amount of uranium (as it is the basis for all lategame power) as possible so as to produce as much plutonium and by extension, ficsonium as possible at peak efficiency so as to not clog the system with Plutonium waste. This also needs to take into consideration extra power sources include the S’s and OIL. Coal should go to producing even more uranium, though it does cost SAM, which is an issue. It would be a daunting task to create a layout in excel, let alone building it ingame

Since you can craft SAM Fluctuators in the crafting bench, you can and should access dimensional depots ASAP. I'd highly recommend every player beeline for that tech.

there are lots of small details that changed, eg the portable miners now stack and i easily could carry 6 in a single slot (which is especially important at the beginning or when building/upgrading a bunch of miners while people have only few slots available), and while checking out the interior of the new hub he didn't try how cosy the beds are: by crouching for one or jumping and then crouching for the other, you can enter both beds (but not lie down). Let's see what else we find when advancing behind the first hub stages ...

Not possible to cross play from steam to epic anymore. Epic account can cross play, steam accounts cannot. They need to revert to the old session ID system, because it actually worked.

You do not need the manufacturer to get the interdimensional depo. You do not need to go through the fluxuator node. Once you reasearch 1 mercer sphere you can get to the depot research, you can get these as early as you can get steel pipes
