Yeah I’m pretty sad he doesn’t mention diabetes at all. Like even with an insulin pump type 1 diabetics still have to tell it how many carbs they eat at any given meal or snack. He also has to check his blood sugar throughout the day, like there is absolutely no way it doesn’t affect him in some way every single day.

@Anne Day I also have an insulin pump and a cgm that checks my sugars every 5 minutes the FIRST thing I do and can guarantee most others T1D do when they wake up is check their sugar or their cgm to see how my sugar is. Diabetes is time consuming and the fact he doesn't mention it at all is upsetting.

It’s not weird at all it’s typically modern press tour but you go on your channels instead and radio/late night host although most people do both still there are some few celebrities I feel like haven’t really adapted there press to a more accessible age but still. I think in this case, unlike most celebrities, the food portion is because of his diabetes. He has to monitor what he eats. Speaking as a fellow diabetic, we think about food a lot. 😂 we’re not hungry, we just like to think about all the juicy food we can’t eat.

@Anne Day, nah the insulin pump itself helps keep you stable throughout the day, but type 1 diabetics still have to tell it how many carbs they eat at any given meal or snack. He 100% checks his blood sugar before he eats and just throughout the day, but he doesn’t have to prick his finger to do that. He probs has a CGM that tells him his blood sugar at any given time. I’m actually pretty sad that he didn’t mention diabetes at all, bc there is absolutely no way it doesn’t affect him in some way every single day.

Anne Day i think he uses medtronic pump not sure version but probably the latest one and his dog is getting trained to be a diabetic alert dog so i don’t think he’s that “high tech” he’s talked about t1d in many times and how it’s difficult for him to manage especially on the road. so just bc he’s rich doesn’t mean he doesn’t struggle with it. he probably just didn’t want to talk about t1d or he just wasn’t comfortable.
