My works 65 plate custom had an issue and was the ignition barrel. learnt that you could wiggle the ignition barrel or unplug a cable in behind and re plug in.

@@joemerchant463 That's interesting to know, they have put a new ignition barrel in this and I couldn't get the key out today, I had to leave it in whilst I did the job.

@@PlumbLikeTom they aren't even coded and think they are about £40-£50. Although that won't matter to you if under warranty

Love watching old kit given a new life so well done TOM. as for the van it was the correct decision as i got hit by a car some years back and the Driver said the steering lock was faulty so they were taking it to the garage when the knocked me of my Motorbike and my bike was written off. all the best lad

Hi Tom, I can’t believe you are having even more trouble with that Ford transit van, they really are a pile of junk. I binned Ford years ago after having a useless brand new fiesta off them, I said never again would I ever buy a Ford. Definitely some complications with the jobs in the film too, some days/weeks just get worse sometimes. As you say You can only do your best and I know that is true. I hope things improve for you this week, if it is any consolation I’m having similar problems at the moment too. Take care Tom, things can only get better, I think there is a song in there somewhere? 🍻👍👍

Could you explain about that valve and about your qualification of touching that particular valve. Thanks
@PlumbLikeTom2 ай бұрын
You need to be qualified to work on rpz valves, to be honest it's more having the equipment, my tester cost around 2k, but it is quite easy and lucrative work, most companies charge around £350 per valve to test. There is just a series of check valves inside the valve, which you have to check to make sure there operating Ok. I look after a few in my area, the next one I do I will try to show

If needle on guage is bouncing does it mean has air, also is that same with natural gas domestic boilers.

Never fails me how, a farm, running 2 oil boilers, plant room etc, a house with 24 double rads, and the well off customer freaks out if you mention it needs replacing and the cost. They probably spend more on wine and cigars a month.

@@PlumbLikeTom Been there done that. Had a lot of problems with my Renault Traffic several years ago. Boost sensor for the turbo failed which lead to no boost and maybe 40hp in a 2500 kg car. Then water got into the trailer contact and somehow that made the oil pressure sensor go bananas so the car didn´t start at all. The last straw was when the service receipt said that they changed the spark plugs on a diesel engine.
