Just swap the entire transfer cases over guys, still same 6 bolt 23 spline inout for all xj/tj with the auto boxes Instead of undoing all that shit, dropping oil everywhere. its the linkage and the 6 bolts. much easier than splitting them haha

For the older ones, the engines go hard but their electronics arent the greatest. Abolutely no issues with the newer ones. German designed engine. German designed gearbox. German designer. Electronics are alot more reliable. You may as well call it a Euro.

We had one at work, piece of shit took around 5 seconds for the Turbo to kick in which resulted in people getting it bogged all the time. It would lock the doors on you as soon as you started the ignition and did this annoying constant beeping shit when you turned it off. Hope the newer models are better.
