I guess I’ll leave it at this - I think my behaviour would suck if someone used a racist word, I told my boss and he tried to tell me to get over it / tried to speak to the one person who I assumed would relate but was shut down & then I was stuck on the same boat with the same people until the charter ended. As well as being filmed & processing everything. You have no idea what emotions she was experiencing & if you personally can’t relate you will have absolutely no understanding of how these emotions are expressed. Try having some empathy.

The whole N word thing was blown soooo out of context. While I agree 100% that it should not be used in any circumstances, the degree to which it has been criminalised in this case is a bit far reaching. She was singing the next line of a song that Rayna was singing herself. Definitely a mistake and a bad move but she was quoting words of a song. They weren't her words. She didn't use the word in a conversation nor did she seem to have any ill intent when used. Still crossing a line but not outlining any racist intent or bias of her own. On the other hand, Rayna was most definitely being racist when she attacked Wes and called him out as not being black. That was cruel and far, far worse. I can't believe it wasn't mentioned by comparison in the reunion show especially by Wes.

@@christy367 Obviously, from what I posted I agree that it was wrong. You may disagree, but I think that if instead of singing a lyric with the N word in it she had used it during a conversation it would be more offensive and directly attributable to her mind set and racist bias. I just find it odd that after the incident, either during the episodes or in the reunion show, the fact that the word was thrown out in the context of a song and not her own words was never brought up. Yes, it's wrong either way but one is far worse than the other in my opinion. Heather was definitely an offender but it just seemed like they were trying to cast her in the darkest light possible and completely glazed over Rayna's racist attack on Wes.

I support Heather on this thru and thru. Rayna embarrassed herself and black people on a whole this season (memories of Lexi?). If someone not of color calls me the N word to my face it will sting a bit but I'm a grown-azz man and I'll move on. No different to using the word redneck or hippie or canuck. It's just a word. If someone of any color on the other side of the world says the N word in any context then so what? Nothing to do with me. Heather repeated the words of a song, while drunk, that Rayna herself was singing, and gets slung over the coals for it. It's just a word, there was nothing racial about it. Yet Rayna gets to say what she said to Wes in the back of the van, and then pass it off as oh I was drunk when I said it. No sister that doesn't fly. At the end of the day, if the use of that word is so triggering to you, then here's a newsflash...how about you erase it from your own vocab. And btw, it isnt only my silhouette that's black, I am as well.

Rachel is a great cook . She is so funny and weird. Jessica is so boring. Low energy on work. Always negative. Ryan is way too sensitive on rasist issue and also always complaining. When Jake talked to her, she just fire back with big mouth. Not professional at all. The rest ofcthe crew are working hard. Its a luxurious mega cruise. Clients are paying alot of money to have a good time. The level should be high. Spotless. Efficient and anything is possible. Its only 6 weeks.
