Just came back from Mardi Gras. Jackson Square and the French Market are indeed awesome. Magazine street and the Garden District are underrated! We ate at the Napolean House right at closing time, and the Maitre d' and the chef gave us a private tour of the whole place. It was awesome!

As a life long resident of New Orleans I for one would not live in the French Quarter. To crowded, to noisy to expensive and few places to park for free. Other than that it's not bad.

It's definitely not for everyone, which is why I try to cover options outside of the inner city as well. Thanks for watching!
