So often I find myself in the impossible odds category, but the other night, my team won 14 out of the 15 battles I played. It’s not like I changed my play style, so there’s something definitely amiss with the MM system (not that we don’t already know this) that needs to be fixed.

This. I had a 25% win rate one day, winning 5 of 20 games. The next session I had 10 of 10 wins, so the matchmaking seems everything else than random. And of course, either win or loose, 90% of the time it's completely one sided.

15 battles is not a nearly enough games to be statistically significant in any way. You just got slightly lucky and perhaps played better than average as well, it's not indicative of a problem with the MM in WoT. We just tend to remember the streaks of bad luck we have, sometimes remember the streaks of good luck, but almost completely forget the many, long streaks of average luck.

​@@Analfeber Those things happening is not in any way an argument against randomness. That is exactly what randomness is. Even a coin doesn't land heads after every other flip, there are streaks. But if you look at the long run, they even out to 50% in the case of the coin and to your win rate in the case of World of Tanks.

Playing devils advocate, but if you really always had a 50/50 chance to win it wouldn’t actually be random, sometimes you get lucky and sometimes unlucky, but the unlucky usually weighs heavier on your mind, so it seems like it happens more

Just learning today you can give yourself a small boost of movement with the salvo, I love the double barrel tanks in general, and learning that will further help me to get to those point just a bit faster is further pushing me to farm the ST-II, the IS3-II is among my favorite tank to play next to the 703 II (where I almost got an Ace tanker with it), they may not be among the best kind of tank (Double Barrel), yet they have that satisfaction of playing them, especially when you do the salvo, big boom, big damage, and truly, sound design to when you shoot both of them is just so perfect, sounding like a powerful thunder, a violent one, and knowing that those damage you did is making it more fun to play. DPM is super important, yet when you have those exquisite moments where you have the opportunity of charging a powerful shot, the satisfying sound of the build up, and the salvo shooting as it sounds like a pretty big recoil that moves everything in the tank, Double Barreled tank has this satisfactory touch that makes them fun to play, not the best, not the worst, yet when someone play those tanks, it is either a bad experience or an amazing experience, and when you have those magical games, you can feel like a behemoth.

I feel you all to well. Today was just horrible. No matter what I did, including getting 3k damage and six kills in one match (a tier 6 match at that even), I could not secure a win. The rest of my team in all five battles, were trash.

I only play obj 279e and OP premiums, I easily get 64% wins every day and on tech tree tanks I usually get like 57-58

Last night I had one of the worst sessions I've ever had. Couldn't do anything right, so many fully aimed shots went wide. Just felt like RNG was really against me. I should have quit and done something else but I kept going hoping it would get better. It didn't!

Na server MM has be atrocious this week. Every match was a blowout one way or the other. Ended kne day 6 wins of 26 battles. After the battle my team had a majority of its players at about a 44% win rate while the opposite team was a avg of 56% some of which had win % of 60-70%

Most of my games consist of my team either mostly camping at the back, getting spotted and rushed, or all going one side of the map, letting the enemy travel down the other side, taking our base while being trapped from the front and rear. Then there are the game riggers. Everything seems to be going down hill and it hardly improves.

That's kinda same as me. I don't use my keyboard for anything other than an occasional typing in chat. I use the razor tartarus and naga mouse ... it took a few days getting use to it but now I wouldn't have it any other way.

Sorry, nothing personal but I can no longer cope with dual barrel tanks. Especially when "fantasy" recoil modelling results in you going faster if you fire over the back deck (somehow recoil systems, transmission and gear ratios don't exist).

I've almost completely given up on WoT. My last 40 battles have all been defeats. I've been in the top 3 all but 2 of the games and top of the team over 20 times. While I don't believe that the matchmaker is rigged as many claim daily. It is getting easier to believe.

If that is the case, then everytime you fired a single this game (apart from when discouraging tanks from pushing you) then you should have fired double and got way more damage? or am i missing something?

I was really bumbed out 2 days ago because I was super close to getting a Top Gun in my Jagdtiger on a map that I hate where my team deployed badly and I had to pretend I was a medium tank and fight a Centurion Action X while a Kunze Panzer sat behind me where I should have been sitting. Instead, I went and did his job while he did a poor imitation of me doing my job and at the very last minute I was about 1/2 a second too slow with the shot to take down the last man standing on the enemy team and I missed a top gun. With how fast the games are these days, the chances for a top gun have gotten pretty damn thin on the ground for me these days.

Kunze is a sniper, Jagdtiger is a brawler.

@VioletStetPedder - Jagdtiger shouldn't be brawling with t10 mediums in a spot where it needs a turret and stealth to be effective. Kunze panzer is going to be able to do that job a lot better. It's not about who has what basic ability. It's about who has the better ability to do what needs to be done out of the people who are available to do it. Also, in my experience, unless your in a mostly downtiered match, if JT doesn't at least start out as a sniper, it very quickly becomes dead since it's so big, so easy to penetrate, and so slow.

@VioletStetPedder - I initially drove into that spot thinking I could support the medium tank that would obviously go into a more forward position. He didn't do that. That particular position being a key which must be contested by somebody to prevent from utterly being dominated on that flag and me being the only other person available to. Do this absolutely required action, I went and did it. I can't remember the name of the map I just tell you what map it was on.

Did that double barrel boost make a difference? No, but QB had to make sure we all knew he tried it. Good job decaping, but please, nothing so special. A little like that time I have tried a flick blind long range shot on an EBR because it might have won us the game, but it didn't work out so well.

MM has been absolutely awful these last weeks. Most of the player seems to play like/be bots and games are not interesting. it is either 15-5 or 5-15. maybe 1 game out of 20 is where my play actually could change the outcome. not to mention rng. shells flying out of the aiming circle. 1 out of 4 shells land where i shoot.

Cannot make this tank work, it is so weak as a heavy tank, so unlike either the ST-1 or IS4. Just awful. 40% wr after about 40 games and I'm afraid to play any more in it. Weakspots all over the upper front plate and turret on a slow, immobile, really tall heavy tank? WTF!

These days you can do everything to win and it still will pretty much - at least, 80-90% of the time - never be enough. I'm so sick of doing 4-5-6k damage a game and getting 4-5 kills every match and we still end up losing. It just simply isn't right. WG needs to do something - ANYTHING - about the bad players that flood this playerbase and ruin this game for experienced tankers like myself.

Ordinary promotion from WOT tips !! (Haha 3-7000 Damage) you don't get 1/4th of what you see here in real game!!! These bastards have a modified mod for promotions to see they are still in the top ranks, what he shoots is a hit!! if a tank hits him.. then a rebound... I guarantee that you won't have it that way!! and it will be the opposite on mil. % and besides... don't buy premium or premium tanks!!! it's useless anyway, the server determines the damage,,..determines victory and defeat .. If you upload min Damage to the opponent, the server will automatically flip and give Victory/ if High damage to the opponent - it is automatically Defeat.. You have a tank of 8 levels and you are approximately at the bottom of the team or on the bottom team composition, stacked from level 10 = It's automatically a win because you have no chance to shoot down Level 10 that is: min. damage = victory.!!! If you are on the highest rungs in the lineup, e.g. team level 8 to level 6 , Automatically = high damage to the opponent and you automatically = Defeat!! Server. BLOCKS....visibility, enemy detections, opponent damage, you can just do whatever you want :D !! it's wasted money!! You actually have more losses than wins in the game!! Ask yourself another question.. how many times have you recorded what you see here? (it's easy to play if you're an admin with a good game mode!), and this thieving company gives replays like this every day ... they're just lying to you and fooling you it's a great game, waiting for you to adjust the game mode to the minimum so that you can put real money into it!! Also note that they offer only premium or 10 level tanks, where you have huge losses in the game even during premium, especially if you use gold-i (premium cartridges)!!! , for 1 battle minus up to 8-20,000 cash... if not more... wt.
