In no gi how did you usually do it? Overhook, wrist grip and kick the closest leg?
@NoForGayJesus Жыл бұрын
@@Itzak15 Dont overthink it, if you roll and scramble into a wrestling position it will come to you. If your opponent tries to seatbelt your waise just step in front of them and throw their upper body

I liked this format and it´s not that I don´t love the old long Uchimata video but this one is a good refresher. Thank´s for sharing.

Love this! It's all of my favorite uchi mata content that you made, but condensed in the best way :) By the way, I've had this question for a long time, but is there a chance you could go into more detail on the fulcrum for uchi mata? I sometimes see people lift onto their hip, and other times it looks like the sweeping leg is lifting the opponent by one of their thighs. Would greatly appreciate a video on this fine tuning, as I feel like I often have a mismatch between the rotation of the opponent's torso and the part of my body that should be lifting them. Also, what's the optimal direction for the opponent's torso to facing in relation to yours? Should they be approximately the same direction? I feel like I have to be careful in how I turn their torso to keep them from rotating around my leg. Thanks again!

OSU Can you discuss in your podcast about how to deal with bad blood? It happens a lot in the jiujitsu (Bjj) culture but is it the same in Judo? Teacher having bad blood with student or visa-versa etc...

Tbh I've never seen as much drama in any specific martial art as I see in bjj. Not sure what it is.
