That's an advantage of the UK. We has maybe 2 inches of snow, but not very often. The only issue with 2 inches of snow in the UK is the country comes to a complete standstill. If we had 1.5 foot of snow it would be a national emergency. We can also ride in mud. Plus our trail centres (UK spelling) have all weather surfaces.

True. We spent a 6 weeks in Scotland in January a couple years ago just to learn to ride in the mud. In NM the mud is all clay so no riding until it dries!

I'll take a copy of "Fiscalicious". The fish cooking book should be "Piscilicious", imo. I'm glad that you beat the storm (for the most part). Things are pretty bad in Nebraska right now, Kansas probably isn't the greatest atm, either.

Rain or shine in the tent! We don't usually wimp out until it gets below 25° F then we get a hotel or bum a friend's couch and then get the heck outta wherever we are that's that cold!

Does your van have the v10 engine? Also is it 4x4?

V8 and no, not 4x4 but it's a 350 and has lots of clearance so we can manage some pretty rough roads. Mud is not so good tho!!!
