Super Mario Party felt like a practice game for ND Cube and Mario Party Superstars felt like a test run. And Jamboree looks like they finally got their footing!

During the trailer, the part where we have the "Hero" characters on the top of the screen and "Villain/Enemy" characters on the bottom of the screen, Ninji is the only character absent (With bowser being there instead). I'd imagine that cutscene is likely from the beginning of the game, with Ninji being absent presumably due to being an unlockable character. Means that there may be more characters aside from who has been revealed.

@@DerNeik The Bowser shown on the board and as an enemy in minigames always has a purple glow. Since Kamek is the host, this most likely means Bowser is a playable character and board Bowser is one of Kamek's fakes.

I think there are two Bowsers. In the shot where it shows the retro boards, you can Bowser as one of the 4 players at the start in the Mario Rainbow Castle photo. I think the Purple Bowser is an alternative one, like a Neo Bowser or something.

I really hope Koopathalon is playable offline. It looks extremely similar to the Coinathalon mode in Mario Party Star Rush, which was one of the best side modes in the series imo. That was offline, so it'd suck is this wasn't also.

few things I noticed about the game. 1. this game seems to be a mix of both the Nintendo switch Mario party's. 2. they made sure the bowser on the boards looks different to how he looks when he's playable so I'm pretty sure he is still playable in every part of this game. 3. ninji wasn't in (what I'm assuming to be) the starting cut scene so I think he will be unlockable and not in the starting roster. 4. the unlucky spaces were next to lucky spaces so i think when you land on a lucky space it will turn into an unlucky space. 5. there is a lot of rhythm games shown so the rhythm mode from "super Mario party" will probably return. 6. we went from "super Mario party" to "Mario party" and back to "super Mario party" implying they are two different franchises and as "jamboree" doesn't have grid boards i think we will have the return of personal dice blocks. (don't know if there will be a return of dace 1-6 dice or if we will keep the 1-10 dice we know and love)

I assume the exclemation mark item is a warp box from Super Mario 3D Land, so it probably either teleports you to random space or it works like items from previous games that switch your position with another player

The ! item Toadette has is a Warp Box, previously seen in Mario Party: Star Rush on the 3DS. In that game, it allows you to teleport to another player.

For Western Land, they changed the lay-out a little bit. You can see it on the right side of the board, whereas in the N64 version, you can go down below by the left side (with a skeleton key) or Right side (tracks). Now you can go only by tracks, but go up via the Skeleton key. Also, they teared down the Koopa Banks on this one, which is sad, cause I did like 'em. And on another note: I SAW MOOMOO'S! 😍

my guess for the "!" item is a possible redesign of the rare hidden block item, where when played you get a hidden block cutscene w/ a chance for coins or a star. If not, maybe it triggers the event spaces on the board (eg changing the day/night for horror land), I feel like that could present some interesting strategies.

Its actually a warp box (not warp block). It was already in first super mario party but it was exlusive to partner mode and it would simply teleport you next to your partner. But here the footage is clearly not from partner mode (and we dont even know if it will return). It was also in super mario 3d land/world where it would teleport you to other location. So it will be something that teleports you somewhere. My guess is it teleports you either to a specific location or maybe a random spot.

The 2 things I am most excited for in Super Mario Party Jamboree are that Toadette is playable again and that Mario’s Rainbow Castle is back. Bowser is playable in Super Mario Party Jamboree. The Bowser of the Bowser Spaces and board gimmicks is created by Kamek. Other playable characters should include Blooper, Hammer Bro, Dry Bones, Diddy Kong, Pauline, Pom Pom, and Boom Boom.

9:21 Thats a warp box (not to be confused with warp block). It actually was in super mario party but it was exclusive to partner party mode. It would teleport you next to your partner. But here its clearly not partner party mode (we dont even know if the mode will return although I wish it would) because in partner mode the characters in same team share coins,stars and items while here all have they clearly dont. It will most likely teleport you somewhere. It was also in super mario 3d land/world where it would teleport you to other location. I think the most important thing to me at least is a long time Mario party player is that the boards look like they are big again instead of the very small and shrunk size of super Mario party and I felt like Meijer party superstars was a step in the right direction the boards there are also felt a little small to me, so the fact that we have both more boards, but they all look or least most look fairly large is a great improvement to the formula. I personally kind of hope they make DLC for this one and add an additional board and maybe like 10 new mini games and a character or two every so often to the game has like for five or 10 bucks. I would buy a new board with new mini games and extra playable characters every so often and I’d be perfectly fine with that because this is like a family game. We pull out all the time to play .
