Those last two quotes in the rock lore makes it sound like Xeroc wants to go back in time or something. He’s clearly questioning the meaning of time and it’s nature, and perhaps his bossfight will feature time manipulation.

I think the past and future but is referring to the dragons being able to indefinitely escape death. Xeroc asks what the price is of eternal, unchanging power, and why the future must be so predictable. Xeroc wanted change.

It's implied through word of god that Primordial light is what the sun is made out of whereas other stars are implied to be smaller collections of mana. For all intents and purposes, Xeroc is the sun god.

I think it might be related to Noxus in some way. Xeroc's proposal will become available after having defeated Yharim and Xeroc sends us on a mission back to the Distortion to hunt down Noxus or something akin to that.

Perhaps the proposal is that Xeroc is willing to make the player a God. But perhaps also the amount of strength that god will have is directly correlated to the base strength of the one who obtains that godly power. Perhaps Xeroc wants to make you a God so you can govern the world of Terraria as a steward of it. Being a productive and benevolent emperor of the world unlike Yharim? Perhaps Xeroc would want this as his motivation because he had more benevolent intentions when taking the Dragon King's Auric soul while still being a traitor and his actions wrong. And saw Yharim as someone who ultimately was not a good ruler of the world once he conquered it, since Yharim let the world crumble out of depression and apathy. (Yharim clearly also did not destroy the Corruption or Crimson when he could have with Calamitas's brimstoneflames, but did to his political/military enemies of the pre-burnt desert.) Showing in this example to not care about the citizens of Terraria, b/c if he had he would have gone back to the evil parts of the world to cleanse them to prevent the whole of terraria from being consumed by this evil burden.

What if after you do post Yharim boss rush you get the Auric soul to do Xeroc's bidding, but you turn on Xeroc and fight him last (this would probubbly not happen but its metal as fuck.)

So, YEARS ago, calamity had this funny endgame challenge where you fight the future incarnations of bosses of a what if you didn't exist parallel timeline, like the Lunatic cultist becomes the "Doomslayer" (whatever that's supposed to mean), the Devourer of Gods becomes the "Devourer of Universes" and Yharon ascends to the "Dragon God, Yharon" It's obviously not cannon anymore and got completely cut from the mod years ago, but reading "dragon god, yharon" makes my neurons activate and makes me speculate tons of ideas, what if Xeroc's proposal has something to do with him sending us back in time, and turns up we are the ones that killed the Dragon King and Xeroc just stole the power from us only to sends us back to the present soulless and trapped in time The Terminus might be the tool Xeroc uses to send you back in time initially, but he'll only allow for you to travel "once" (aka as many times as you need until you win the fight, and after you win it gets disabled by Xeroc), but since the Rock is made from the Dragon's Aerie and thus it doesn't care for the flow of time, you might be able to combine the rock with the terminus to reset the terminus and use it again to fight the dragon king in the past a "second time" but this time you know what Xeroc's plans are so you can try to stop him from stealing the power from you I doubt we'd get to keep the soul either, idk maybe in the present you can give the soul to Yharon and actually make Yharon the god of the dragons or something idk

Theory- Yharim will be fought in the dragon aerie in the Scal lore thing it says that you are strong enough to face me and you should come to the Dragon's Aerie to fight me or something along those lines, anyway i am thinking that the rock could possibly be importent to getting to the dragon's aerie after all it is from the dragon's aerie so it should have some connection to it( search the meaning of Terminus it is related to Roman mythology)

I’m pretty sure we do actually have confirmation that we will be fighting Yharim in the dragons aerie (I think they’re gonna make it its own sub world). I could see the rock playing into that but it’s kind of impossible to tell for now.

ok. here's a random theory. What the "eternal night beyond" refers to MIGHT be Noxus. Given that the sprite that used to be in the files used colors that resembled common nighttime colors, and that Noxus is implied to be a dark entity, i think this would fit. As for the proposal, maybe it's something related to Noxus? Maybe Xeroc is testing your strength to see if you are capable of taking on Noxus, or maybe help him do so? What if the Primordial Light cannot banish Noxus anymore? What if thanks to the DoG Noxus has grown so powerful that Xeroc knows he can't defeat him on his own, and his proposal is him asking for your help???

I may very easily be wrong, but if you pay close attention to the lore items dropped by bosses, I got the impression that: We, as the character ARE Yharim (far fetched, I know), and that we have awakened after some sort of long slumber. The lore items constantly refer to Yharim as “I”, and it is even mentioned in “The Roar of the Jungle Dragon” that we shall hear his dying roars, and that an enemy awaits us that we cannot defeat. Even saying that our rival stands in his way, I think Yharon may be trying to stop us. Also in the Hive mind lore, it is said that they purely harness the power of gods, while weak ones. If we fight and defeat these “gods” so early on, who’s to say we aren’t just Yharim warming up for what is to come? Another theory I have formed is that we may be Xeroc. In the later parts of the rock’s lore, it seems to reference a goal of time travel. Maybe we are a past Xeroc from the either Past: we are being tested by our future self whom has achieved time travel and come back to prepare us. The rock is a keepsake because it was given to us as a sign of recognition by ourselves Or future: something happened and we were laid to rest, the awakening lore suggests wings and worthiness. Sounds fit for a corrupt god. We, too have achieved time travel and that may even be why we were incapacitated. We now walk a path of bloodshed to reach what we once were, and stop him from doing something horrible. Just vague theories, please share your constructive criticism with me! 🙏

Also heres some extra stuff that may or may not be acurate: "Banishes the eternal night beyond" I think this may just be referring to night time lol The first person who got the terminus might've been Silva, Goddess of Nature. my only proof of this is cuz silva blessed primordial wrym and primordial wyrm hates primordial light "When the battle is over and the dust began to settle" i think this was after the fight with moonlord vs the dragons. "What is the true price of the past being ever eternal" this was xeroc's thinking, that maybe the dragons aren't strong enough to be protecters of terraria "Why must our future forever haunt us?" Xeroc being worried for the future, cuz if another eldritch being like moonlord invades terraria who is going to stop them? the dragons race were almost wiped out and if a powerful being invades now (noxus maybe??), it might be the end for terraria. This is also why i think xeroc ascended to godhood and shared the knowledge on how to ascend, maybe its cuz to have gods protect terraria instead of dragons also i MIGHT be super wrong on these lol, these are just theroies and i could be very wrong

It's been confirmed that both Noxus and Xeroc are super bosses after you fight Yharim whom is the canonically final boss, meaning basically that Xeroc is the final final boss.....the TRUE final boss

I WAS TALKING ABOUT THIS‼️ Not gonna lie, you should talk about some vanilla bosses on Calamity's lore too. They have different lores than in vanilla. The primordial light is interesting, only Xeroc and Empress of Light (which is my favorite boss) accesses it... Maybe we could have more information about this. Xeroc is a good character, as the first God. Next time... Maybe talk about Yharim! He is the antagonist, and he is by far the most important.
