I'm from the Minecraft Parkour Community and stuff like this is rare and amazing to see! I can tell you spent a lot of time on research, finding detailed information about the community is pretty difficult, and the nerdy stuff you showed is just one of many genres/gamemodes of technical parkour (The really technical stuff is its own community and is separated from other communities like parkour speedrunning and competitions). Wonderful work, and astounding video!

this is honestly amazing as someone who had a big watching phase (never doing, bad eyes and a lack of depth perception'll do that to ya) and has enjoyed minecraft content for a decade, seeing them collide like this is awesome i was apprehensive at first, because most of those long videos are only so popular because people put them in the background text-to-speech videos, and using that as a basis seemed like a waste of a cool idea and then you brought out the neos, and the training, and the entire parkour society movie??? your passion and research shined through to make this video was captivating from start to end the blend of real life and minecraft content was perfect, and the final product was breath-taking what a worthy homage to minecraft parkour!

As someone who loves to (amateurly) jump both irl and in Minecraft, this was a really fun watch Im a bit more on the "tehnical" side of parkour, which includes a lot more stuff but nevertheless this was a great watch! (also something that caught my eye a lot is what you specified as a "headhitter", which is often confused with a "pessi", the main difference between these 2 is that a headhitter is a block in front of where you need to go whereas a pessi is a block directly above you :DD)

Did not think I would stay long for the video but watched the whole thing. the movement of Minecraft is something I grew up with and was a skill to learn for a lot of mini games or player vs player game like UHC, skyways, survival games, bed wars. The game can get really intense when running away on low hp or chasing someone. Something you missed was the parkour with using blocks or other tools which can make a huge difference if you live or die. This was a cool video to relive some of my teen years and reminds me of the good times with friends on parkour maps. Only recently I’ve gotten into bouldering and it’s the best outdoor activity I’ve ever experienced. Some of the jumps remind of my parkour and maybe it’s another good video idea how they compare. Stay safe out there❤

Really cool video. Im looking forward to watching the chill parkour video as well. The only thing i didn't like was how much you featured parkour civilization. It felt like half (in reality it was probably just 15% of) the video was dedicated to unedited clips of this minecraft series, which just felt like padding/plagiarism. Would have been better if it was just a short mention.

Didn't know parkour is considered "nerdy". I know both Minecraft and parkour. I wonder what level of nerdy I am. Frankly, any game with movement or platforming can have "parkour" in it. You could argue that video game speedrunners are "traceurs", heh. In fact, the Minecraft tricks you showed here are not much different from what speedrunners have been doing since the '90s - taking advantage of quirks in game mechanics to increase one's speed and overcome obstacles or skip parts entirely.
