it's the risk of being around a bunch of rookie's that have to make up for their lack of talent on the track by being overly aggressive and that's just the sad reality of the truck series. even the long time veterans say the same thing. the other problem is a few of those drivers some how made their way into the cup series on big ticket teams which has helped justify that mentality because it's marketable for tv.

Not sure if I should say this, but you wear your heart on your sleeve and that heart is as big as your helmet! You are doing your job perfectly. You are a target BECAUSE you are good... VERY good and others are afraid of you. Time to stop playing by official rules. Time to stop believing everyone else is as fair and a decent as you are. If dirty is how the other racers want it, GIVE it too them! It won't take long for you to be feared. Either by skills or lack of fear playing them all at their own game. I'm not saying cheat, but ride the fuck out of that fuzzy line. They do. Don't lower yourself to their level. Pull them up to yours. One race at a time! Much love from down under xx

Hailie, I've been a NASCAR fan since the days of Fireball Roberts. That's a long time ago. I'm a fan of yours. You are a ray of sunshine with a tremendous amount of abilities as a driver. Please be patient and keep learning your trade. Don't trade who you are for success on the track. You can be more aggressive as a driver racing for position but don't start running over people. The fans telling you to drive dirty will be the first to abandon you if you do. As a Ford fan, l watched Bill Elliot go from a rookie to a hall of famer by being a good wheelman and not running over others on the track. Yes, there have been many dirty drivers in all forms of motorsports that have had success and that's how they're remembered, as dirty drivers. When you're riding in the middle of the pack, and you get caught up in someone else's mess, you have to ask yourself why was I there? I didn't practice much, I went out and played around with my friends between races, and didn't property prepare myself for the race. I could have been working with my team, learning more about my truck and what to expect at the track, and how to properly setup the truck for it. Additionally, there's the simulator time that I could have used more of to better prepare myself for the track and the race. Everything adds up to how you perform and adjust at the racetrack. Do you want to be in victory lane or in your trailer watching the race after the wreck from someone else. Good luck, Hailey!

As I stated on a separate vid/post of yours, the entire race was a cluster- f**k. Running 4 wide in the corners on lap 50 isn’t real smart and they were “chase” drivers. SMH… You had a good truck and were driving some really good lines. Being taken out is extremely frustrating and I can see why your emotions swelled. Hopefully your inner rage can toughen you up to a good level. Be aggressive but be safe. Please don’t let it become “PT” insanity. You have great crew chief, spotter and crew taking care of you. They can see your dedication and spirit. It’ll come. Just think, you finished better than Nemechek, Smith and Creed. 😉 You’re doing great. First year you learn in trucks. Second year you reap the rewards. In ‘23, you’ll be sitting in an Xfinity Ford. Be safe in Dega and remember, you normally don’t get wrecked in P1. 😉

YOU GOT THIS!!! Hallie you have amazing talent as a driver and you should never lose sight of that. We all know that at least 30% of the field has no business being in a professional race. And that isn't going to change as you make your way up the ranks towards Cup. There's always going to be guys or girls who don't belong on a track with real racers and screw things up for the ones who do. It's just the nature of the sport and how people come by their rides and where the money comes from and all that. You know this, though. Just keep working and watching film and studying and you'll do it. You have great coaches a great family and a great fan base. We're growing every day and we're all pulling for you!

The most important thing is that no driver were hurt. At the end all that matters is that no driver were hurt and everyone is safe

As soon as she said "I'm done playing nice," I got a big grin on my face. Kick their ass, Hailie! No one said aggressive always meant wreckless! Go be aggressive and take them boys to school! Elbows out, Dale Sr. style!
