The reason why the ACR in BF3 carries 26 rounds is because it's actually the 6.5 Grendel variant, according to the stats. For some odd reason, there do exist 26 round mags for it irl.

The glock 17 is fine actually, as its only select-fire slides that have compensator holes in them. The 74M has a fixed stock, too. And some L85A2s have a pic rail. Other than that, excellent video

Not entirely true, the c models of glocks are compensated, thus g17c, g18c, etc. The one listed as being in game is shown as g17c, but should have been a g17 as it was missing the comp ports.

I really hate myself playing this game so much because there are still FPS games in 2023 that doesn't look, feel and play as good as BF3 (of course including BF 2042). Only thing holding back are the low tick rate servers, but Venice Unleashed mostly solved that.

4:24 AKSU got a weird receiver that has a cutout like a milled one. IMFDB calls it a mix of milled and stamped receiver but I am not exactly sure what exactly it got from a stamped receiver with textures that look a bit dated, even if real krink got a stamped receiver. also its pins are not correct 9:10 - it got a fixed stock. I am pretty sure that handguard is also simply a recolored wooden handguard and not a proper polymer RPK handguard. all of this leads me to believe that it got everything right for the RPK, but for some reason devs decided to call it RPK-74M and give it 5.45mm ammunition. 19:00 - I am pretty sure that (gonna call it current production but I mean the one that was available before the whole modernizing with skeleton stocks) SV-98 already had photos available on the web back in 2011 and thus it is an incorrect model for the time period that somehow got carried over from BC all the way to BF4.

Wanted to come back and say that the Krink is accurate aside from the fact that the shooter doesn't pull the bolt back far enough to chamber another bullet, I can tell by the fact that the charging handle doesn't go into that travel channel above the trigger assembly.

Well, AS VAl use 20-round mags for standart, and 10-round use VSS, but they are interchangeable. But usually val use 20-round, and it's extended mag holds 30 rounds, and usually used in SR3M, but they looks like really different

The SA80 has a Picatinny rail adaptor for the dovetail, and primarily used with current issue SA80A2 kits in conjunction with an ELCAN optic. Though it's not incorrect to see a picatinny rail on an SA80, the way it's depicted in BF3 is that it looks to be welded on top of the dovetail as it sits quote low.

The G36 has the thumb piece of the selector pointing down, meaning it’s in full auto. The only issue is that the white mark depicting what the gun is set to is off. Kindve interesting since this is also a problem with some real life ones

Another big issue with the PKP or PKM in every videogame is that you are able to carry and fire it like any other rifle. The Russians mount those machine guns to trucks because of how powerful they are. Most NATO machine guns fire intermediate cartridges, so it's more plausible to hold them, but that is a full power rifle cartridge coming out of the PKP. You're not just going to hold that like it's nothing.

10:06 I see the PKP Pecheneg's reload animation is also a bit off. Unlike most modern MGs, the PK doesn't have a push-through feed system. You will have to eject the first cartridge from the belt manually to actually have it ready to fire. This is done the same way as with most magazine fed guns: by pulling back the bolt only after a new belt has been placed.

AN 94s magasine is slightly canted to the right to accomodate the 2 round burst mechanism. its not perpendicular to the reciever like shown in the game. its canted to the right at an slight angle

The M4/M16 rear sight isn't incorrect. That's just the night time/0-200 meter rear sight aperture that's wider than the other one. They flip over and can be changed at any time.

The A91's Grenade Launcher can be removed as it's integral and does not mess with the function of the gun. QBZ-95B's have been seen with picatinny rails.

Another problem is the character uses the wrong hand on the bolt even on the Russian faction. They are designed so that you rack the bolt with your right hand to keep the muzzle pointed at the target. The only game I have seen somewhat proper reloading of the AK platform is DayZ

M9 - the hammer not moving isn't exactly what I would call incorrect as much as it is a limitation of the engine or just laziness from the devs M93R - agree with this one, this is just laziness from the devs that used an already exitsting model and just changed enough to be passable to unassuming eyes Glock 17 - it's a Glock 17 most of them come without any cuts it's not really incorrect the "coffin cut" you're probably thinking of is on the Glock 34 Glock 18 - agree with this one, but the selector I would say again is either limitations of the engine or laziness Taurus Model 44 - gross, Taurus. I'll accept anything bad anyone has to say about this MP-412 REX - again, engine limitations or lazy devs lol M1911 - M45 MEU SOC is just a variant of the 1911. All of the Incorrect features are really just personal preference and easily changed. This example would still be clone correct considering this variant has been in service since the 80's MP-443 Grach - I wouldn't really say that it's wrong considering 18 round magazines were probably fewer in number at the time and the devs got told 17 because that's probably all they had to use or had knowledge of M4/M16 - regardless of what it's based on, you know what it's supposed to be in the game. Civilian rifles can be converted to fire auto or burst, the rear sight is either because of the engine or so the sight is actually usable for gameplay HK416 - agree with this one but it's laziness, engine limitations, or for gameplay again lol F2000 - to be fair, this game did come out in 2010 and the frostbite engine didn't have the best textures AK-74M - it is correctly depicted. There are still AK-74M's that do not have the folding stock trunnion and are still in service, but the feature you pointed out would make it an AKS-74 AEK-971 - because this was still prototyped at the time, having a hodgepodge of parts from different prototypes and putting them into one rifle isn't exactly uncommon, I don't agree or disagree with this one AN-94 - The 2 round burst is technically happening in game, if you go by the ammo counter, but it's not near the speed it should be. And yeah you right, there's no semi auto on these lol AKS-74U - The only issue I can see with it is the fact that it's using a milled receiver instead of a stamped. Famas - agree with this although the bipod is detachable KH2002 - agree with this SCAR-L/H - another probable engine limitation or lazy devs, I think all of the guns in this game are like this most notably the M4/M16 G3A3 - agree aside from the sights not being properly aligned HK416 again - latch is probably engine limitation or lazy devs, the stock and pistol grip are easily swappable so not really wrong but not clone correct either Sig 553 - there are no differences between the civilian and the military rifle besides the lack of full auto, so it was modeled after the civilian rifle but we know they're going for the military rifle. The only issue I have with the gun in game is when the gun is dry and he smacks the bolt release like an M4/M16, the bolt release on the Sig is a downward pull not a lever that can be pushed in. He should be smacking downward like on HK guns. G36C - again engine limitation or devs lol A91 - The grenade launcher is detachable AS VAL - the standard capacity is 20 rounds while 30 is the only larger option HK53 - completely agree that is incorrect ACR - agree with this one too but the selector lever is wrong on this one too MTAR - it is faithful but the reciprocating charging handle is not PDR-C - yep agree with this one QBZ-95 - picatinny rails do exist for this rifle L85A2 - picatinny rails exist for this rifle as well RPK-74 - agree with this one although muzzle devices are easily taken on and off and there are examples of RPK's without muzzle devices so not really wrong but not correct either QJB-95 - this being pretty much from the same family of rifles it would be safe to assume that if the QBZ-95 can mount picatinny then most likely this would too. AKs-74u is not even close, see tarkov for example. Most obviously, it has a milled receiver style lightening cut near magwell. And the sights are totally wrong. Handguard shape is also extra blocky, textures do not reflect real gun's laminated wood. Ukranian tears works just fine.

The glock 17 has no cuts in its slide nor is it compensated you confusing the 18 and 17 the 18 has a ported barrel witch is why it has compensator cuts in its slide but of course it doenst mater because that's not like a stand issue factory thing for a glock 18 becaue glock 18s arnt really a factory option anyway they are special ordered guns for military and LE and I'm pretty sure the gsg9 were the only ones to use them. It just seems to be common in most fps games that the g18 has a ported barrel and slide cuts. It's not a deal breaker. honestly if you just had a switch on a glock 17 you cloud call it a 18 it's basically the same thing

Something that i never understand is how that "less known" guns like the JNG-90 is more accurate than a USA gun. I mean i would think that is way easier to get the hands on a M4, M16, AR-15 or even a Russian gun and make almost perfect minus some very neat picky details than a Turkey, South Korean or other country gun.

It's really based on accessibility of the IRL weapons. Most US made weapons had sanctions due to School Shootings, Wars, and frequent use by enemy nations. As a result developers use the civilian versions. Compare that to export weaponry that is readily accessible with lower restrictions in their respective countries.
