The bulletproof vest was given to Lemon by Tangerine. Tangerine starts the movie with the vest but you'll notice after a certain point when he has his tie loose that he's no longer wearing the vest, because he gave it to Lemon. The Japanese characters that show up in the title 弾丸列車 is not the Japanese word for the bullet train that is in use right now. The Japanese word for bullet train is actually Shinkansen, written 新幹線. 弾丸列車 is actually a literal translation of bullet, 弾丸(dangan), and train, 列車(ressha). This term was used for a prototype of the Shinkansen that was planned in 1939. It was meant to be a train that travels faster than a bullet. It probably was a deliberate choice by the director use the literal translation though.

The express trains only stop for a short time at each station, you don't have time to get off to get stuff at the station, that's why there's the lady with a snacks and drinks cart on the train, and the PA speaker warns you to be ready to get off as soon as the train stops if it's your stop. Most people get their food and drinks before they first get on the train.

CinemaSins, I think you may have missed one. When the doctor is poisoned (~14:00), you comment that the villain only had to spray the poison on the surgical tools while at the wedding they had to eat the poisoned food. However, the doctor would never even have touched the sterilized tools with his bare hand - he would have been wearing his non-permeable surgical gloves from the moment he entered the room. Not even skin contact? That poison has a mind; it just kills whoever it wants to.

He shows the conductor his receipt bc he lost his ticket BUT the conductor doesn’t accept it and tells him to get off at the next stop. He then has to hide to avoid the conductor at a few points in the movie. Doesn’t really explain where the conductor goes or how the train goes from full to empty by the end, even if the guy bought every ticket. This movie had unrealistic action scenes, but it was also well done and very fun to watch. 17:40 No, the movie is making fun of what people like ladybug tend _to make_ off their therapy for anxiety. It's a caricature, and actually a pretty good one. It's a bit uncomfortable from the same shoes, but that what makes it a good caricature. Getting all overshary and advanced self-helpy at people is a thing a lot of people do after getting into therapy, especially if they fought opening up to it in the first place, and this is just a tropey juxtaposition that is very in the spirit of the insane over-the-top-ness of the whole movie of exactly that. We all fight with that in the beginning. It's representation, fairly harmless and well made. What else do you want?

I feel like this guy spends hours trying to find an excuse to add to the counter. I like this movie and was actually feeling like watching this video to just enjoy and maybe even agree with. But BRO. "I swear this movie is 5% people saying the name carver". It's like watching a movie with an angsty grandpa who just wants something to complain about. Sorry for not being civil but I couldn't help but say something. I mean, 1 million people watched this vid bud, 28 thousand liked actually liked it...

For a moment I thought he was going to mention Hiro as the ticket agent, but forget Katana as the snack cart lady. AND HE DID!

Ah yes Cinema Sins doing what he does best, criticizing a movie in 30 seconds more time than he said the video would end.

Well, no. The sin timer was actually 28 seconds less than 24 minutes. The video run times always include an intro and outro. So, y'know... *_ding_* for you an' all that...

I can't fathom how but this is my favourite movie, at least in the action-comedy genre. It made 0 sense and was perfectly logical, it dragged on yet was entertaining the whole way through. Also the truck at the end lmao.

18:07 - Had the same question since we never see Magic Mike again either...yes, it would seem by the end that those who we 'need' to get to the White Death are still on the train, but at least give us a glance of any of the other passengers getting off the train, y'know? 🤔
@subjectdelta47582 жыл бұрын
If I remember correctly, I’m pretty sure White Death reserved every seat so that he can kill everyone who was on his list
@fredrickbeondo86952 жыл бұрын
@@subjectdelta4758 That's what is said, and obvi the guy has enough cash to do so, but as they say in the video, does that mean the SHOOSH lady and Magic Mike had their train tickets comped by the White Death, and/or were actually working for him? Let's be honest, facts be told, this movie is feather light on logic and heavy on just fucking up everything all at once as much as possible, so I only mentioned it too because it stuck out to me watching it, otherwise it really don't matter 🙃
@SlickNoir2 жыл бұрын
No, what the White Death said was that he bought every ticket to fill capacity. Nobody could get a ticket from the second to last stop until the last stop because it was fully booked. So anyone left on the train would be the agents that he hired.

This movie is so good to me. I really hope they make a sequel or a prequel. I love these characters. 😁👏
@thesilentgametestr Жыл бұрын
There was no lead at the end that warrants a sequel given the white death was the main reason behind this and he dies. It would be pointless. Although things got explained about how it all started, maybe a prequel could be worthwhile, but only if there's something worth telling.
