Didaka D Personally, i feel they accomplished that. I may be alone here, but out of the CoD campaigns I've played, Ghosts is my favorite. The awesome chase leading to the final showdown of Logan and his bro vs Rorke all felt dramatic and awesome to me, that is, until he BS'd his way out of a .44 to the chest. Y'know, it almost makes me wonder if Activision forced them to tack on the cliffhanger ending just so they could make sequels to Ghosts if it got popular.

You missed a few sins at the start; for one, how the fuck does noone notice the large amount of armed soldiers entering the ship the feds use to get up to the station? And why the fuck didn't it give you the option to simply empty a few clips into ODIN? Satellites are fragile as fuck, 25 odd rounds of 5.56 would fuck it up so badly it couldn't tell time, much less fire Kinetic Impactors. And how the fuck is it firing directly at a city? Rods from God need time to build up the city killing kinetic impact! A direct impact shot would need the rods to be fired from a railgun, and the rods would burn up going that speed anyways? Also, why the hell didn't the USA use nuke subs or ICBM silos or any of its overseas air force bases to turn the Federation into a parking lot after the KEW strikes? Much less the bullshit "No Mans Land" time? I mean, by the time that mission rolls around, more than enough time has passed for the US to recover their C&C hierarchy, and have people authorized for nuclear release. The Federation army in RL would never have enough time to try WWI stalemate bullshit, they'd be disassociated molecules drifting in a thermonuclear wind.

They didnt use nuclear weaponry because it is against the UN to have weapons of mass destruction in orbit, giant rods are not on the list, and any ship wouldnt have been able to leave as they would need as much soldiers in the US to help with the clean-up after the ODIN incident.

The US wouldn't get rid of their nukes just because of ODIN ( which, BTW, would most CERRRRRTTTAINLY be classed as a WMD), so as soon as the ODIN rods slammed home ( Which is also a impossiblity to have happen so fast, the rods'd burn up if they were going as fast as they apparently were, not to mention the ODIN platform is NOWHERE near big enough to sling the rods as if it were a railgun) the US would retaliate with nukes. IDC what you think, but the hierarchy of command for release of nukes is robust enough to lose Washington, and not to mention that as soon as the controllers on the ground knew their orbital doomsday weapon was being taken over, they'd be making calls and the Secret Service would be having POTUS moved to a secure, and hardened, location. As for the "soldiers in ship", launching a rocket is ALWAYS monitored. ALWAYS. And there were WAY too many soldiers in that ship for SOMEONE to have not noticed the guns and extra bodies being loaded. No way in hell. If it had been, oh, hell, maybe a dozen men, I'd let it slide; they could have been loaded in secretly with the cargo. With as many troops onboard as their were.... no. Someone would have remarked about it.

All proposed "Rods from God" systems don't do that, and act more like high tech gravity bombs; you drop one at the right time in a orbit, give it a little deceleration, and use the Earths gravity to build up speed.

Here's why ghosts failed: 1. The story was probably the most original and new this series has, but was told from the wrong perspective. See, Red Dawn worked because it was from the perspective of the civilians, the innocent ones who had to learn to fight. These guys could've been Paul Jackson and Joseph Allen for all their originality. 2. Wrong type of enemy. As far to my knowledge, we may not be the best of friends with the southern americas but they have no reason to just attack us 3. Why do we have a giant fucking laser? The nazis didn't need lasers to take over Paris 4. The characters were way too streamlined. 2 burly white dudes. I felt more emotional sadness when Roach, Allen, Jackson, and Frost died. Why? Because for all I know, these guys weren't burly white dudes, and it didn't force the fact that they had a family or some shit. 5. "We're a weak helpless America!" We have a tank, a uav, and mines. 6. This is not a ghost unit. There was more stealth in Modern Warfare.

I can't understand all the hate towards Ghosts. It was a fantastic game. It was the first Call of Duty that requires a minimal amount of skill. And as the name "Ghosts" implies it was much more stealth based. It's the only game in the Call of Duty series that you can't run around with your head cut off with a shotgun and do well.

I think that ghosts is one of the best games in the cod franchise, it has incredible realism for a cod game, almost all the guns are real (except for the dlc guns), it has incredible ballistics compared to previous cod games, in bo2 there were some issues with enemies not dying when shot in vital areas I shot an enemy in the head three times and he didn't die until I got closer and this was with the Barrett in Time and Fate, but in ghosts it's like they know how guns work they don't have weird stuff going on with the range and damage.

One thing that really annoyed me with EVERY SINGLE call of duty game is that the character you're playing as never speaks (This is also the case with many first person shooter games) there is no reason why the character you're playing as should not get to have any part in the story, it would only make it more engaging.

I honestly think this was one of the better installments. I liked the post-apocalyptic setting, fighting in space was cool (but unrealistic, although COD hasn't been grounded in reality since the first Modern Warfare) and I loved Squads mode (although I think I might be the only one). I see a lot of people saying this was the worst one but I'd say its better than 3 and both Black Ops games, and is on par with Modern Warfare 3.

You know what's a sin? Guns in space. Astronauts need to use specially designed tools because the gloves on their EVA suits are so thick that they can't hold normal-sized tools properly. You're telling me that the characters can squeeze the triggers of typical, unmodified guns with spacesuit gloves, with no problems at all? Even if we assumed that the guns were designed to be astronaut-friendly, why the fuck is there no recoil from firing them? If you shoot a gun in space, you will be pushed back in the opposite direction, and they didn't show any of that. I mean a fart is enough to change your motion in space ffs!

Right, it's just as ridiculous as complaining about how to properly manage a giant, FICTIONAL space laser that can destroy cities. At least guns are a real thing and people understand exactly how they work. The fact that the studio didn't even try to implement something to give the impression of recoil tells me they're lazy as fuck. I understand it takes extra time and money to do that, but it completely killed the immersion for me at that point, and I was done with the game.

In no way am I defending this awful Call of Duty game, however these weren't really sins. I'm assuming that this channel and CinemaSins are related (Being they both pretty much have the same name, same video styles, same sound effects, etc.), however with CinemaSins, he points out actual flaws in the plot of movies. Most of the sins in this video were just cheap attempts to be funny, and not actual sins. Again, note that im not defending COD: Ghosts (because it was a pretty rubbish game), its just that the sins should actually be, well, sins.

No one seems to realize the oversight during the last mission. When Hesh and Logan are talking with Merrick about 'Checkmate' He responds immediately. Says alright then they proceed to kill Rorke. So then the train falls etc. etc. then he says Checkmate and Merrick says Checkmate Confirmed. HOWEVER THIS IS AN OVERSIGHT. When you go into space, you are getting orders from Merrick to fire here there and everywhere until all of a sudden he says something about receiving some info from a team... after a brief moment he then asks the Space Team if they have eyes on the train and then says fire on it. After you say the Ghosts are on the train he explains the order came from the ghosts.... HOLD UP.... Something doesn't add up... If Merrick stopped giving orders to space team so he can listen to the received message, it was obviously Hesh telling Merrick the plan... so why seconds later is the space team firing on train???? When they breached the train they took a good 2-3 minutes of fighting before saying checkmate... and saying checkmate doesn't require Merrick to say hold on receiving transmissions... LIKE WTF OVERSIGHT

João Filipe da Costa Yes, the Soviets did some experiments. Turns out that the recoil isn't as much a issue as thought, so long as it is done with pistols. Anything larger, and you can be sent flying, unless braced or your gun is synched to your thruster pack and it'd compensate for the recoil forces. They completely skipped over that issue of course... logic and believable physics go out the window for every CoD game, as usual

It had an original story, the gameplay was fun and satisfying and ya know what? The only real problem was how cheesy sum of the dialogue was hahah lol as well I feel like they should have made like a CoD:Baptism or something like that cuz its obvious that Rorke takes Logan and tortures/re-educates him the same way Rorke was soooo.. Oh, man, you missed some big ones! The scene where they are all tied up... how does Logan go from being so badly shot that he's almost dead to having enough strength to not only run through the building but to fight and then continue? Also, when he shot Rorke at the end, that entire scene had me flipping out. Rorke got shot point blank in the chest with a 44 mag, it went through him and into Hesh, but he somehow managed to not only swim out before drowning, but got further down the coast so as not to be seen, got up, walked over to them, kicked Logan in the face and dragged him away... oh, and Hesh was too injured to help Logan. How was he so badly injured but Rorke wasn't?

I love how you say that the writers didn't do any research...well um obviously you don't know about ODIN which is the space weapon which was put in the game obviously to destroy certain targets and you probably don't know the reason behind the choice of weaponry equipped with the satellite. A treaty was signed to ensure that no countries would be able to have nukes or anything in space just waiting for use but a loop hole was found since ODIN shoots long medal rods (6m) and the direct impact alone causes the destruction...the real version of ODIN is THOR and is up there right now and be thankful that the Russians didn't get their way or else there would be nuclear weapons above us right now...next time do YOUR OWN research before you criticize anyone else. Also and with this I finish you nitpicked every little detail in this game even the things that had no relevance at all (no particular example cause that's all this video is)...Try not to nit pick because some of us like this game and before you ask oh if you like the game why did you click on the video maybe just maybe I wanted to hear other people's thoughts on the game so yea.
