There's actually a nearly completed Garfield animated feature film with the original cast (including Lorenzo Music and Thom Huge) called Garfield's Judgement Day just sitting in a vault. (Disney was involved with this one, IIRC, so it's in the Disney Vault.) All the voices were recorded and Lou Rawls recorded songs. (There's a clip of Lou Rawls singing this song in a Garfield anniversary TV special. I think it was the 10th anniversary of Garfield.) The animation just needs to be finished. It would be nice if they completed this movie and released it, but the people that own the Garfield rights (Nickelodeon) probably don't even know it exists. There was a book of the movie that was released (as was done with the TV specials) if you want to see what the story was going to be.

What’s funny is that Bill Murray agreed to this movie when he though that it was written by Joel Coen of the Coen brothers, and thought the movie would be a dark comedy. By the time he signed on and was baffled by the terrible script, he realized the movie was being made by Joel COHEN, who wrote Cheaper By the Dozen.

Its funny you mentioned Toy Story at the end because the writers of this film Joel Cohen and Alec Sokolow were two of many of the original Toy Story's writers.

8:31 this is actually something that my cats like to try and do often. there have been several times where i have gone somewhere just to arrive and suddenly hear my cat meow and appear from under the car or I get home from a visit to a friend just to have them call me an hour later telling me that one of my cats is at their house. now every time we leave the house we always have to check under the car to make sure our cats aren't under there.
