I think there were some incredibly strong female characters in this movie. I think people misinterpret the word “strong;” it doesn’t mean they are without flaws. In this situation, yes, these women are strong and confident and their personalities are very fleshed out and enjoyable to watch. At the same time, they have a lot of issues. They committed crimes that should’ve landed them in jail. But having personality flaws doesn’t make someone’s character less strong or enjoyable to watch (think of Heath Ledger as the Joker). These were also based on real people, so it’s not like these characters were created from scratch. Overall I thought this movie was hella
