There's a point where mass comes into play and a shorter but heavier guy compared to a taller but same weight guy has no real advantage. At smaller weight classes I'd say height and reach has a lot of advantage. Back to Sean o malley, he has gone up against much more built opponents who were shorter at the same weight and arguably more explosive, but he still beat them.
