Transmissions are solid. Not sure which one you have but mine is the 722.6 same tranny in amg cars and the g wagons from that time. I don't think the v6 makes enough power to really damage it. I think if you keep up with the maintenance and service the tranny regularly you really don't have anything to worry about. Most of the time the issue isn't even with the clutches and just the conductor plate you can get the whole service kit with the conductor plate for less than 300 on fcp euro.

The srs light shows on my dashboard and my mechanic said it's the airbag and it would cost 1800.00 to repair. I left it. You pointed out the belt buckle which could be my problem.

I'd trust your mechanic, he should have a scanner that will tell you why the srs light is on. Most commonly it's the sensor in the seat that goes bad.

Mine has a black gauge and red engine cover and brabus bumper and brabus boot badge but I don’t know if it’s a real brabus I only see the k8 and b9 and d6 so I don’t know if this is a real brabus please help me

im Currently looking @ a 06 E350 with 200,000 miles on it, only 2 owners in excellent condition in & out super well maintained with both keys & service manual & upkeep records for sale 3k.. do you think it worth the buy?? I can fix & maintained all preventative maintenance myself just worried about the mileage

Just got a 2008 e350 as my first car, love it, just had extremely minor issues, paint that came off steering wheel etc.... wish I found the amg version 🤦

I also have a srs light on in my 04 e320 was like that when I bought it never got it scanned the guy said it was the seat belt buckle which it could be but the light in the center console area that says “passenger airbag off” is illuminated not sure if that has something to do with it

You’ll need a scanner that can access the SRS computer to tell for sure. It’s common for the passenger seat weight sensor to fail. It’s also common for the buckles to need replacing as well. In my car both were the issue.

I’m hoping your still responding to this channel, I just bought a 2008 e350 RWD and found out yesterday that I need an intake manifold, cam sensors and front brakes. The German auto shop wants 2600 dollars. Could you tell me what an intake manifold should cost?

Hey thanks for watching, not sure on the price of installation at a shop. I have a video on here replacing the intake manifold on my old car. It’s a common issue. The job is a pain but can be knocked out in a drive way over a day. I think it took me like 4 hours total and the part was about 700 from fcp euro.

Hey I got the same Benz but regular sedan, of course mines got more mileage being in the military but definitely enjoy it but I had the same minor issues. I see you're from Jersey the potholes killed my Benz but now that I'm station in Oklahoma the roads are much better. Have you had any issues with the seatbelt my passenger buckle has to be always clip on so it doesn't beep do you think is the same type of issue as the SRS message you had.

From what i understand the seats have sensors in them that identify when a person is sitting in them. Most likely you seat sensor is the issue making the car think someone is in it all the time. If plugging in the seat belt stops the sound id say the buckle is okay and its the seat itself. Thanks for commenting and watching!

@@terrytaylor4828 mines has 170,000 and literally just took a drive from Oklahoma to Kentucky over 11 hours of driving and it's still doing good, and apparently the price is a really good price. I knew Mercedes kept their value more than american vehicles but yeah it's worth it it's the car is in the condition you said.

The M112 had an oil level sensor, but the M272 doesn't (at least in 07). They have a dipstick instead. Gotta check the oil the old fashioned way.
