I bought one for the same price 4 year ago 2002 1.4 TDI it had 184,000 on her . I've replaced suspension components bits n bobs around the engine . Injector loom , oil , engine temp sensors Cam belt , pump thermo Runs great , no squeaks or rattles It now has 210,000 miles They are great cars and won't rust body wise . Great mpg I'll treat her to a new exhaust soon if she keeps behaving 😁😁😁👍🚙🚙

Many of them are stocked in Audi Tradition in Germany, the club can help get parts from there to the U.K. (as AT don’t ship to the U.K. as part of the post-Brexit nonsense). Also replacement dipsticks are available again via the club and several members offer remaps and cruise control retrofit services (as well as many,many other toys that brings the standard of kit up to modern standards). Basically if you have one of these and run it as a daily driver then you need to sign up to the club forum - which makes the whole ownership experience easier and more pleasurable. I have a tuned TDi90 myself.

Sorry guys but this video just hasn't done it for me. I've been a supporter of the new team and genuinely liked some of the new content, but this does just feel like a painful imitation of what the channel used to be. Everyone else does this kind of video and they have the chemistry to do it better, you haven't earned that yet. Stick at your own thing with the new team and it might work, but CT using this format is like when Chris Evans took over Top Gear.

TBH didn't like that video much. Don't know why, it's not quite the old CT. I guess many of us are saying that. Anyway, I didn't like sarcasm and dissing the Audi A2. They are excellent cars. This one could have been fixed easily and it is not a piece of 600 quid rubbish. The A2 is an appreciating classic and I'm going to buy a diesel one soon. I think people just look at the shape and then immediately make their mind up. I really disagree that parts are not available. I remember going to a VW dealer and they still had parts for a Mk 1 Golf, including body parts, and stickers, etc. And this was in the 2000s. So I reckon if you went to an Audi dealer and asked for a rack for an A2 I am sure they would have one. It would cost you, though.
