@@shivashishwar9552 exactly, if he want to do 100 sins then that's what he could have done, not for Miles Morales who should not have been in the story in the first place, it defeats the point of the Spider-Man being pulled in. Also again they should have just forgot whose Spider-Man was because it should have fulfilled the request of fixing the spell without destroying all of their relations. I mean sure you'd have to reintroduce himself as a hero but that's easier than a lot of the issues that would have arrived. I think part of the reason why that wouldn't work for the MCU Peter is that then it would just be Peter Parker killed Mysterio not Spider-Man kill Mysterio since his identity would have been known they just wouldn't be an alter ego.

27:42 the reason this venom knows Peter Parker, as weak as it is, is because in the post credits for Venom 2 Venom made a remark about every symbiote in the multiverse, not just the universe, sharing a hive mind, meaning as long as one Venom knew Spider-Man, they technically all do
@YouMakeMyMotorRun2 жыл бұрын
It's actually a good explanation... or it can be, if they properly explore it. There's tons of mystery to work with in the symbiote lore and could expand the MCU dramatically But then again, there's Green Lantern, the Fantastic Four and the whole Star Wars EU to remind us that Hollywood doesn't always do well with expansive, interesting universes full of world-building and lore. I can answer the Venom question. At the end of Let There Be Carnage, Venom explains to Eddie that the symbiotes share a hive mind across the multiverse. When trying to show him this, the two are suddenly pulled into the MCU, where Venom recognises Spiderman on a TV. Aunt May being dead is a non consequence - since she is fridged. She has no more function in the story than Uncle Ben, imparting the same lesson again that he already learned. There are no lasting consequences for anyone else. In fact the whole point of the plot is to *reboot* the story thereby eliminating all the consequences from all the previous stories. Doc Ock, and Goblin and Max and lizard are *all alive* again. Tobey and Andrew are Spiderman again. Parker is a kid with no high school diploma, no girl friend money or job again. No one knows anything he ever did so every - consequence leads to something he can do over. And that is the real point of the plot.

@@starcycle4308 well it's kind of a spoiler but given your comment you don't feel the need to watch tsam2 so I'll just fill you in. essentially, in the Amazing Spider-Man 2, Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man fights his universe's green goblin in a clocktower, and as the fight ends a bunch of the clock mechanisms fall out from being damaged. Gwen, Spider-Man's love interest of the TASM movies, was inside the tower and when the mechanisms break she falls. Peter attempts to catch her with a web but it catches her in a very bad way and far to late and the momentum snaps her neck while her head also hits the ground pretty hard from the impact, killing her instantly. now its assumed, since Garfield's Spider man has apparently been at it for a very long time after Gwen's death that we haven't seen but it's mentioned in NWH, that Garfield's version of spiderman has been obsessing about that trauma in his head over and over, how he should have done it differently, how he could have saved her if he had been just a little quicker, so when he sees Tom's Spiderman's girlfriend falling, the realities he has played out in his head hundreds of times where Gwen doesn't die, where he is able to save her, enable him to instinctually spring into action as soon as he sees her falling. he saves her, but he cries because she's not Gwen, and the realization sets in that no matter how much he obsesses over how she died, what he could have done differently, he can't ever go back and change it. he's stuck with his fatal mistake and the realization that he could have saved her, that it really is his fault she isn't alive. at the same time he cries because he is happy that Tom's spiderman never has to experience the pain of losing someone like MJ. Overall it's a really beautiful moment for him because he finally gets some redemption for saving another spiderman's girlfriend the way he couldn't save his own, but bittersweet because it forces him to accept the harsh reality that he really could have saved Gwen, but he failed and nothing can ever bring her back.

@@summertyme5748Hi again, I disagree - yes you are right, sony now have a decent shot at bringing Spider-Man back to the Sony verse however, in this move Tom Hollands Spider-Man did learn a very valuable lesson: Throughout every mcu Spider-Man film Peter has had the aid of his friends and family, aka Tony stark aunt may, Ned and MJ, and the entire avengers, hence dr strange. Peter has always been protected in some fashion and he knows if he has a problem he has people he can turn to. This movie pretty much made all of the above null and void as he has no friends, no family - no one who can help him, Peter now is well and truly alone. As you probably know since Tobey Maguire’s Peter spent most of his time as Spider-Man concealing his identity, it was only from the third film onwards that nearly everyone in his life knew he was Spider-Man, previously this gave him thick skin, giving him the strength to make his own decisions, and fight for himself. Spider-Man is know as a lone wolf, he’s not a team player, the mcu knows where they made their mistake, this is movie is them reconciling and yes mainly it’s a cash grab but and made mainly for the fans but it totally deserves more credit than it’s getting, this may be the MCU turning over a new leaf, I think we should appreciate that.

@@farrelz.2183Yeah, it was quite poorly handled, it could have been done way better. I believe it should carry the same morals as the Spider-Man into the spider verse movie. Tom Holland should be the under dog while tobey and Andrew are quite experienced at their craft as Spider-Men, there is another discussion between the three Spider-Men and they all exchange stories, Andrew talks about his experience of losing his uncle Ben, losing his parents and learning his best friend has turned on him and tries murdering Gwen, until he as individual isn’t fast enough to save her, the love of his life taken away from him. Tobey talks about how he also lost his uncle Ben, spending his early adult years living in poverty, struggling to pay the bills, and having to cope with the idea that he contributed to his best friends fathers death, just explaining the whole dilemma of Spider-Man 2, peters life was like shit, but he walked it off, he kept swinging until he made it work for himself. Tom hearing all of their experiences not only as Spider-Man but as Peter Parker, Tom is realises that these people have had it much harder in life than he has, then his decision to wipe everyone’s memories of Spider-Man is a unideal choice he is willing to make because this is his chance to rewrite his origin story, he’s not Peter Parker who was bit by a spider and was recruited by tony stark and pretty much had his life handed to him, he can finally prove himself worth of calling himself Spider-Man

@@N1NJ4EAGLE No even then. You can't and shouldn't be able to just turn your empathy off. In Spider-Man 3 Flint Marco killed Uncle Ben. When Peter found out he attempted to get revenge and it only made things worse. After spiraling further down Peter realized how easy it was to make the wrong choices and hurt people and so when he hears the full context of what happened between Flint Marco and Uncle Ben he is able to forgive him. After the Green Goblin kills Aunt May MCU Peter wants revenge but original trilogy Peter recognizes that won't help him. He then helps guide MCU Peter back to the right path. They cure Norman and free him of the Green Goblin and he immediately shows remorse and takes responsibility proving that empathy was the right path.

That concept implodes here. His “empathy” potentially puts millions of lives and worlds at risk. That’s not empathy, just preferential treatment. Empathy does not have tunnel vision, and it excludes no one.

Yeah but why he never learn from his lessons? In the movie far from home he gave billion worth glasses to someone he knew for 2 hours, that person is the reason why everyone knows he is spiderman.

@Pitch Mind Exactly. All this empathy bs about Peter is completely fabrication. What kind of superhero puts the fate of a few villains over every other damn person, not one who has been through the amazing things this one has. If all that hadn't happened I could understand his naivety but its not his first rodeo. It's his 6th outing and times that by 1000n because he's faced things the other spidey movies never dreamed of. Dumb as it gets like everything else in this universe.
