I think the real point about sin #17 is why does Mario run out of air at all? In the past (and future) games, he was perfectly capable of staying underwater without running out of air. Or is he just that much of a badass and can hold his breath for as long as he wants? Also, all jokes aside, that SMG ending music along with the lumas sacrificing themselves to save the galaxy at 17:36 is just enough to make a grown man cry. It's that beautiful.
