I couldn't get the radius/diameter measurement to work at first. Then I discovered that you need to place the cursor in the middle the curve segment, not a the segment's end point. Then I could get it to work. It's helpful to create fewer segments to easily find the segment, then increase the number of segments after the radius/diameter dimension has been created.

Thank you for this. Could you shed some light on why when I attempt to use the Radius and/or Diameter feature of the dimension tool and right click for options, I am not seeing the options for "type" nor many other options you show on the screen? Also the letter's R or D next to the dimension are not showing neither. I am in the raw geometry while using the Dimension tool as you suggest.

Why don't we have native Angle Dimensioning? It rather annoying drawing in text leaders and manually adding angle degrees (they also don't display as nicely as dimensions). We have a built in protractor tool so it seems that going one step further to dimensioning angles wouldn't be too difficult.

How to hide all dimensions when displaying or printing a general view?

One way is to put the dimensions on a Tag and toggle the Tag visibility off.
