It is not very common among enthusiasts and its elongated dorsal fin characterizes it among barbus fish species. The name arulius derives from the name "aruli" used by the locals. Mine are crazy! One male bullied its male & female mates to death. It had the best environment with a great flow. A shame as it had plenty of mates. It is still alive and stunning, pity about the rest of them. RIP
