Latuca referred to Manifold as Little Brother before. She keeps doing that because their power set is similar: they’re stewards of the Universe

i really enjoy seeing second and third generation xmen being written as badasses. at this point they have been in the game for so long they should be able to pull up some big moves, as Polaris did, and also nightcrawler being very hands on in the battle field.

The smirk that Lorna gives when the brood were unleashed on orcust and the return of manifold were very well handled.

And, of course, American Princess era Polaris had to snag some Orchis coffee and insult it. Icon. With Manifold returning, I’m guessing they’ll head into the White Hot Room. I do like that Lactuca is helping clear stuff up. She literally said “Destiny isn’t as well versed as us but she knows her stuff. And I respect that.” Destiny is messy but she’s always working toward something. Although, with the solicits for the next few months of comics, I feel like Destiny is going to be crashing on Rogue’s couch for a while.

The whole subversion of the celestial energy thing: this conic came out dually on Valentines AND Ash Wednesday... (with a DUAL variated release?) Representing both eventualities being undercut simultaneously, not just one of them.

Again, in my universe I refer to Sophia Stewart's Matrix Resurrections, a Matrix & Terminator timeline reunification and mutual dissolution / disspelling & thereby resolution by, not simply a reset, but stepping away from the game, complete and entire. Good tacit advice to all peoples, in all narratives of all realms of our hone stellar sector, including nonfiction cycular history and, btw solar cycles.

I like that this issue started the payoff Ws after all the build-up Ls, but didn't try to tie up every plot point in one go. We're even left with the "new" problem of "where is Firestar?" It's a nice touch that Cable's "borrowed" gun looks big even in Juggernaut's hands. 😂

It's almost odd that Manifold's power set was taken by Sinister or Synch's mutant capabilities pull forth as a take a rabbit out of the hat trick. Obviously, with Sinister having access to the Moira engine and lives, could have easily escaped with all his data even into the 'white' hot room, which if that is where Jean Grey/mutants are, they could easily escape if they knew they were there. With all the space that the Fantastic Four opened up with the war on the Watchers and their enemy, one would think that all of that vast area of uninhabitable space or Groot space, is now ripe for colonization by the mutants, Brood to dwell in without conflict that Manifold could drop mutants off there and be bothered or for that matter Inhumans, Brood or even Skrulls. I like the review, as a long-time comic Marvel collector but these current issues of X-men is starting to wear thin with me for a new spin of mutants. The multiple issues of mutants, each with a storyline that seems out of sync from timelines of one comic line to another, as well as changing backgrounds on some stories/characters is also tedious. The machinations of Sabretooth, Modok, Feilong, Dr. Stasis, Nimrod, Moira, Omega Sentinel, blending mutants, science, mysticism, intergalactic, time travel, multiverse, multi-dimensional entities start becoming over-used plot line/characterizations that opens new plots without completing some others. The resurrection of Magneto is one such story arc is an example that doesn't overuse Storm. The Sabretooth War is another that bringing in Wolverine is another saturation that wasn't needed. Marvel needs to stop writing issues bringing in everything including the kitchen sink to every issue thinking it'll make the story arc complete. It's like a muddled meal that they blended the appetizers, main entree and dessert into a blender whipping it up into a puree and having the readers drink it and rate it a top-quality meal.

MORE collectors need to 'like' your comment. It's so TRUE. Good and GREAT writing has continuity and chronological based storytelling, even when you jump from past, present and future.

Thats the statue of magneto is a monument quicksilver and toad and other mutants created on genosha out of one of the wild sentinels that killed over 16 million mutants and at the time magneto

I thought that Dr. Gregor would leave Orchis and become just like the other lady doctor who was involved in the Ms. Marvel comics who will do her own research h and things behind the scenes or in secret. I was kind of surprised that Dr. Gregor did this because I did expect her to betray Orchis by way of Omega Sentinal because it was clear that she was suspicious, but I actually thought that she would betray them at the last minute when the machines like Omega Sentinal and Nimrod would make a move. That being said, I do believe that that woman, the doctor in the Ms. Marvel comics, is going to be a major problem going down the line.

Out of curiosity, did Lorna's power level increase when Magneto died, I could have sworn her power level was throttled based on Magneto's power level since she was more powerful during the Magneto series when Magneto was gimped after AvX? Maybe I'm remembering this wrong.

Well she can't. That part of her husband is gone. As soon as he came online he sacrificed himself again to save the station from mystique. Nimrod is just Nimrod now.

I'm glad nightcrawler ain't on that brood hype train 😅. I'm still team Scott relating to the older issue of destroying them. Certain plot points have been getting dropped & picked up later, so I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens with this..

While entire storyline has some interest to it, getting past all of the X-Men murder hoboing cannot be gotten past easily at all. It's so telling that sales are down and have been for 15 years. ONLY thing that can "save" the X-Men concept is to wipe everything and FULL reset them entirely. Full universe wipe & reboot, every 616 character permanently gone. 614 or 615 takes it's place.
