Everything You Missed in the Autodesk Fusion Manufacturing Rewind

Autodesk has recently updated its manufacturing workspace technology, including five-axis capabilities, improved corner finishing, and rotary pocket and contour strategies. These enhancements aim to increase productivity and improve surface finish quality. Additionally, the Fusion update came with new features such as a standalone grooving toolpath, improved machine simulation with collision detection, and a new tabular approach to visualizing and editing toolpath geometry. These updates aim to improve workflows.

The improvements to the CNC cutting side of fusion keeps getting better. But I hope you are looking into 5axis 3D printing, Its coming up fast and I think some of these new tool path options for machining might work amazing for printing. I do have something that I’d like to see addressed. I want to see more of an art base in fusion, for tutorials and features. With the tools it already provides, I wish there were more examples of practical and non practical projects in fusion. I only recently found ways to work in fusion that work the way I work, and its older tools that feel buried under another set of newer tools. I’d like to see a future for fusion that uses some more art focused stuff to teach matching processes, and more features that could make fusion more appealing to digital artists. Also please for the love of god, can we get a cheaper subscription model for businesses/ freelancers? I cant use half of these features at home yet, if there was a $35 one limited to the design and render options, Id be much happier.

Buggier than wine programs ran on a hackintosh with an AMD GPU and incorrect plist files. Just gets buggier with every update. No issues taking my money though

I couldn't disagree more. Sure there are bugs, all software has them. But with every release hundreds of bugs are fixed across the product, it's noticeably got more reliable and more performant in a lot of areas over the years.

@@ScottMoyse Sorry can't read your comment. Fusion's browser is glued to my screen blocking your comment lol. 15 years experience with every CAD program under the sun. Never had a program have hidden buttons before. Ran horribly on 3 different expensive brand new Macs. 1 is an anecdote, 2 is bad luck, 3 is a pattern. Every tool/feature in Fusion is like 3DS Max's boolean tool.
