Hey at 18:34 it actually says "blind, weaken, and slow respectively" meaning it only gives you the one that correlates to the super, not all of them at once, hence the fact that they're listed in order of arc, void, stasis, and blind, weaken, slow.

We had those Turrets in Destiny 1. I remember in Strikes you could find the White ring to place a beacon down and it'll summon one of those turrets to use. They were pretty meh at the time and usually wound up getting you killed in a nightfall.

You know, the fact that there’s a fragment that increases both shatter and ignition damage makes me think that this was in the works for a long time. Like, Conditional Finality is cool, but it’s fairly inaccessible to most and shotguns aren’t the most popular in PVE. Having Icebreaker be similar would make a lot of sense.

The "respectively" in the description for Debilitating Wave means either "or" or "and" could work there and it means the same thing, that the element applies its related debuff.

Something that breaks ice would probably be heat related imo, so it will likely stay Solar. My guess is it will have the ability to swap between Stasis and Solar on the fly, kinda like a mix of Hardlight and CF. Stasis mode will Slow on Precision hits and create large Stasis Crystals on precison kills Solar mode will Shatter Stasis Crystals, dealing significantly increased damage in a greater radius. Maybe the Catalyst could cause Shattered targets to spread Scorch or Slow in a radius.

Honestly, it’s neat that Stasis is getting some attention, and it’s nice having more leeway in artifact building but… if it wasn’t for the couple void and arc nodes, the whole damn thing would be stasis, and even some of the void and arc ones are still for stasis. We just got Prismatic, and an artifact that really opened up the possibility to run all kinds of different builds, with every available element. Now everyone’s gonna go back to mostly running the same couple builds in the same element for a whole season. Not particularly excited about that, honestly.

It's because there's nothing like it, everyone that tried to do the same failed. No other MMO is as hype, no other MMO is a good FPS too, no other shooter has such interesting abilities, and no other MMO has a story and lore that's both very easy to understand on a surface level yet very deep once you get reading. Also, I've never seen the sci fi dark fantasy aesthetic used before in a game. It's such a unique style that's seen in pretty much no other franchise outside of arguably star wars? What other franchise out there fulfills the fantasy of arthurian knights shooting their guns made out of the heart of a (basically) necromancer at space robots that can rewrite time because the flying satelite gave them fire magic? D2 has pokémon syndrome. Good or bad, it's the only one of its kind that has a meaningful level of quality

I'd really rather just have dozens of new maps, several new enemy types, and more robust enemy combat AI strats than Armor D.1, potions, etc. They're sinking all their Dev time into building mcguffins around stats instead of delivering actual content. You are not; there's lots of ink being slung about it on Reddit. The prevailing attitude seems to be that Bungie is trying things to drive engagement, and one of those things is making you sort through 1000s of 1/5 and 2/5 rolls to get a usable seasonal weapon. I personally think when they see engagement drop off a cliff because there's no way to get good rolls reliably we'll see this reversed, as to how fast is a question I think for whoever handles patches. I'm thinking I'm gonna give this season a miss until Act 3 so I can blitzkrieg the entire story in like three days then go back into hibernation. The chance to get red borders is what kept me grinding last episode; I see no reason to play past the end of 'having fun' in this one.
