Your hair is beautiful! I hate wash days, because my hair tangles easily and plus I wait so long to wash. I will wear my hair back in a ball or messy bun for days without taking it down. I barely manages it. My hair is down to me waist, but thinning because I comb so much out when I finally wash and detangle it. I really need to do better.

You should try prepooing your hair before washing that would help a lot with tangling.

I’m sure you probably heard this before .. not sure why you not doing it .. but it has saved my life .. wash your hair in sections … detangle before you start washing put them in sections sis

What shampoo are you using? Are you using a stripping shampoo or a moisturizing shampoo?

Do half and half. Braid one side while washing the side with the hair out then switch. Makes a big difference. Less time consuming than sections, for me.

Everything you've said is totally accurate, and I mean everything. Each step from shampoo to moisturize, to regular trims has been the difference for me with regards to retaining length. One other thing that works for me is hydrating my body, and taking vitamins. Can't wait to get the new products!

Exposure to the elements does effect the hair. As a child, I rarely wore my hair out. Mama always kept them in plats with barrettes on the ends. I believe that did help in my hair growth. Thanks for sharing your knowledge ❤

I trim my hair once a year or when the single strand knots are really annoying me..like now. I’m 9ish months shy of a year but it’s bothering me lol. So I’ll be trimming soon. I’m back to bra strap length after neglecting my hair last year so I’m on the right track based on the info you gave. I’m back to the routine I had when I was almost waist length

My hair is long like yours but it's not bc I did anything great. I stopped putting in relaxers and only using sheen spray to keep moisturized. I was sick for over a year so I kept moisturized and just wore in a ponytail. My hair grew like wildflowers and now I'm serious about my haircare. I want to keep my length and grow even longer. I ordered your products but haven’t used them for they came right after I washed my hair. Will be using this week. I’m over 60 my hair has changed. It’s still 3C/4A low porosity very fine. I just got some aussie deep consitioner… it didnt leave my hair curly at all so idt ill use it again sadly. But thats also why i dont bother w either of those. We had them at home growing up both tresseme & aussie (mom had 6 girls + sisters friends living in & coming & going) And yeah just no! And flat out everything just doesnt work for every1. Its so small minded and “let me blame someone so i have an excuse not to try” to just jump n say “u lied.. it doesnt work..” ive seen so many ppl say that w brad mondo bideo cuts etc and its like listen youre not even doing it CORRECTLY lol & all of us have different surrounding and inside circumstances. My hair has had bleach. 1 relaxer. 3 perms (only one possibly done correctly) And bleach again (40vol and i forgot i used such a high volume & left it in like 20 mins) Light brown dye. Back to box black dye… Its pretty impossible to get curl (especially my actual cuurl pattern) from the virgin hair (ab 2 inches) down. Im not about to try something to enhance my curl then say “it doesnt work” Imma know. Im the problem…
