Great video, Imogen; it was very informative. I have a question for Saachi: I know someone who got 94% in the Indian Standard Board in 12th but was rejected for the economics course, and grades were cited as the reason for the rejection since LSE had received applications from students who had gotten a higher percentage in 12th. What, in your opinion, would be a safe percentage to be considered for a place at LSE?

@dishaa61644 жыл бұрын

@ImogenWhite4 жыл бұрын
Saachi: I did take the UGAA. Since I am doing a quantitive course, the weightage was given more to maths in the exam (the exam is on Maths and English). The English section involves writing an essay and the maths section is okay but I found the last two questions super difficult. The maths exam is mainly on the A Level maths syllabus. If you contact LSE they will allow you to sit the exam at your school, given the current circumstances in the world. Normally you would sit the exam in London. Hope this helps! 😊

My main concern is that you do not have further maths. Economics is so competitive at LSE and very mathematical that very few offers are made to candidates that do not offer FM.
