unrelated to most of the discussion going on rn with it, i hope Endfield can maintain the freedom of the characters in the story just like in AK. what i mean by them having progress their own plot and solve their own problems without having Doc or now endmin present in the story. some will this as the mc don't do anything, but we have to remember AK story always tell about the world as a whole it's not just rhodes island but many other factions. their story didn't start with the "mc" interacting with them but goes on naturally. and my concern is how will they do that kind of story telling if we have controllable mc, obviously endmin will present more than Doc ever was in all of AK story but i hope that breathing world that goes on independently still there. the world is vast you know

I absolutely get that on Arknights. I tried it and was just straight bored during the first bit of the game and dropped it. A while later a couple friends of mine were heavy into it and convinced me to really give it a shot. Now I play it every day lol.

I only play Genshin and HSR. This game looks on par or better in terms of character design, world design, combat. If this game releases in a great state on mobile, it 100% will be a new main game for me. I’m so excited.

I love this thing! I really hope i get in the Beta! It s the one game i've been waiting for! It will be the 3rd permanent Gatcha alongside PGR and WuWa. Literally my message to them in the beta survey was "LET ME IN! I WANT TO PLAY THIS MASTERPIECE!" And yes, i love factory games too! It s like a really god tier game! The funny thing about enfield is that...arknights runs on toasters and potato phones, but enfield has STEEP systems requirements for both so yeah, all those fans and people expecting the game will have to upgrade their hardware.

That's the biggest misconception about Endfield. Looking at the base you will think it is grinding or would take too much effort but it's the opposite once you set up even the most basic minimum layout. you literally don't need to grind at all and artifacts have static stats so no need of farming for substats and weapons are also craftable at base. So gameplay loop is you complete story -- set up base -- set gun turrets for farming mobs -- and rest while the game does everything for you until you get the next patch. If you want to more invest time just optimize your base, do raids or dungeon to get parts for crafting weapons and build your character.

A dev that listen is always a good sign and deserves support, and so far that includes Kuro, Seasun Games (Snowbreak), and now Einfield devs. Also its great that they are going for a more action RPG style combat instead of that awful Xenoblade-style combat they had before which killed my interest. Now Im interested in the game again.

It's way bigger tho, gameplay is like classic PS2 game Map, no climbing thing But Map pretty sure way bigger And it's understandable because of Building stuff will eat your game performance, so less map mean less chunck Your device need to handle At least u don't need to loading when enter exit building

Still looks like it's following the same formula again. Having multiple chars out at once is interesting, though I'm not sure how good the party coordination will be if all your teammates are AI controlled, and the base building aspect is kinda new too. But everything else again just looks the same as what we're already playing sadly. Hoping for more innovation.

@@xivilius. Its not just innovative for gacha games only, its also very innovative in paid games. Over the years there havent any game that scratch that itch that pvZ left behind or how weirdly strategic Ak is. I say this as I play Age of Empire, Stellaris, Total warhammer 2, Pathfinder (paid games especially BG3, etc). The game isnt full blown stats stick as turn based games like trails when nearing the endgame. Tower defense genre as the type is just the window dressing, this game Arknights is very weird they have auto chess, roguelike, survival base building, coop mode. I can just use the lowest rarity in game and still win with 1 star or 3 stars (starter squad) for a 150000 HP boss. Even for strategic games I played at the very least, I have to convert to better units that is non starters squad after a while. Thats certainly isnt the case here. Were gonna have necromancer archtype next, its very fun. Dossoles holiday is one of my favorite event. Every events except collab get added permanently for veteran and new players so there little FOMO.
