This!!!! I picked up on this as well and didn't know how to quite phrase it to relay it to others. Their approach on providing pure useful information and not crazy transitions and "good looking" promo vid is truly something I'm pretty sure that gets overlooked. I wanna take a gamble and say it's a testament to how good the game will be developed, wrt attention to detail and pure driving experience and not some arcadey over-hyped trash (I'm looking at you Motorsport).

Another thing in addition to this that I would also like to see is a dynamic and visible rubber and marble build up, that gradually increases the longer you drive on the Track and that only appears in the places and parts of the Track/Surface where you are actually driving on.

As an AC and ACC owner and someone who loves both, particularly ACC, I am very much looking forward to this game. I think the only feature that may help that I didn't see (though maybe is part of the training section, i hope anyway) is a way to teach a user what type of changes to suspension setup result in what type of changes to car behavior. That was one of the biggest challenges in coming from a grab and play game like GT7 (and in some ways iracing). It would make the game much more accessible to the average user and help with transitioning into a full sim. I had to watch hours of online videos to really even start to get a grasp on how to change the setup on the car to better suit my driving style. Not everyone can invest that kind of time (and honestly I am one of them, and it slowed my adoption of the game greatly and was a significant barrier to my performance in the game). The bigger the player base and the more engaged, the better the game will be long term! :) I can't wait to pick this up the day it comes out early release!!

This sort of chassis setup info, all the way down to tire pressures, is readily available online by way of a simple search using a few keywords. A foundation of knowledge in basic physics and kinematics would help with understanding why the various changes have the effect on the car that they do. I would expect the platform to give you some basic tips at the most like has already been mentioned. Even with a lot of technical knowledge, car setup still borders on magic because tracks and conditions and driving style are always evolving. I compare it to playing different golf courses prepped differently in varying weather conditions over the course of your life as your skill and equipment evolve. No two rounds are ever exactly the same. For me, that's the sort of learning to adapt that keeps me interested in an activity for the long term.

@@mitchellsteindler That is a guideline, but HOW does it improve the car's turn in while reducing stability? A more elaborate description, explaining what camber is in wheel geometry, giving a visual indicator of how the wheel's orientation is changing to the road that updates as you adjust the value, and, if possible, a automated traction circle test, and trail braking test, that allows you to get an idea of if the changes made the rear or front looser or tighter, and if you've improved overall grip. All of these tools would allow you to be just as precise with your setup, while allowing people who are unfamiliar with suspension geometry to get a baseline understanding more quickly.

They switched from Unreal 5 to building a graphic engine from scratch, one of the main reasons was VR support (which is a nightmare on Unreal as they said). So we expect an improved VR support on this new game

There is one thing I have always wanted in a modern racing game that Live For Speed did back in the day. A overview of all your driven distance and fuel burned while driving. I think this is a fantastic statistic to have and look at. In Live For Speed I have driven 170138km and burned 58690 liters of fuel. Why more games don't have this is very interesting to me. Car people love statistics.

I’m quite excited. I’ve heard a lot of good things, I like AC1 and I think ACC is good. Though for me ACC was too focused and lacked further diversity, which is a completely fine thing for a game! Yeah, acc had 2 pitfalls: the lack of diversity and the braking system. Maybe the unreal engine with all its quirks can be counted as one too but that's not entirely on kunos. AC's strength was diversity. It took 3 clicks to race a vintage car around modern day Spa or a modern hypercar on a rally stage

I checked using gt7 and except for the blue kerb sections, it's the same exact pavement, barriers, kerb shape... Probably a teaser

​@@zeagle462Only circuit with those kerb colours is road Atlanta but its more likely Watkins Glen because they already have a scan of that track, and they probably changed the colour to confuse us

@@zeagle462 My thoughts exactly since I'ved raced WGL in loads of Sims and I instantly recognised that section. WGL is one of my favourite tracks so I'm really happy! Just need to have Road America and I'm set!

Yes that is corner exit of T1. Also blue guard rails is a dead giveaway away.

Oh my word! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 In a world where incomplete games get released to the public to under false pretenses as finished games for buyers to fund unrealistic promises, thank you for your approach and philosophy of: - being transparent with the community about what the early access is, - offering a meaningful early access package, - clarity on the roadmap and committing to free future tracks. I usually wait for Steam discounts years after release but I've never been so keen to join early access like I am now thanks to this video 😅 Sweet touch releasing this on Christmas day 😅

Maybe the rebound damping is set high and the sway bar is extremely stiff. 🤷‍♂️

@F1aficionado Nah, the tyre slides into the grooves, just zoom in, like the grooves aren't even there. They probably gonna fix this, also needs PSVR2 SUPPORT
