This!!!! I picked up on this as well and didn't know how to quite phrase it to relay it to others. Their approach on providing pure useful information and not crazy transitions and "good looking" promo vid is truly something I'm pretty sure that gets overlooked. I wanna take a gamble and say it's a testament to how good the game will be developed, wrt attention to detail and pure driving experience and not some arcadey over-hyped trash (I'm looking at you Motorsport).

Another thing in addition to this that I would also like to see is a dynamic and visible rubber and marble build up, that gradually increases the longer you drive on the Track and that only appears in the places and parts of the Track/Surface where you are actually driving on.

As a Gran Turismo fan, I would say that the Free roam in the Nürburgring level is extremely mindblowing! I know it’s gonna be so different compared to GT, and many other track racing sims out there. ❤️

As an AC and ACC owner and someone who loves both, particularly ACC, I am very much looking forward to this game. I think the only feature that may help that I didn't see (though maybe is part of the training section, i hope anyway) is a way to teach a user what type of changes to suspension setup result in what type of changes to car behavior. That was one of the biggest challenges in coming from a grab and play game like GT7 (and in some ways iracing). It would make the game much more accessible to the average user and help with transitioning into a full sim. I had to watch hours of online videos to really even start to get a grasp on how to change the setup on the car to better suit my driving style. Not everyone can invest that kind of time (and honestly I am one of them, and it slowed my adoption of the game greatly and was a significant barrier to my performance in the game). The bigger the player base and the more engaged, the better the game will be long term! :) I can't wait to pick this up the day it comes out early release!!

Doesnt AC tell you when you hover over the suspension parameter? Like "increased negative camber improves turn in but reduces stability". Maybe that's not the case in ACC?

A more elaborate description, explaining what camber is in wheel geometry, giving a visual indicator of how the wheel's orientation is changing to the road that updates as you adjust the value, and, if possible, a automated traction circle test, and trail braking test, that allows you to get an idea of if the changes made the rear or front looser or tighter, and if you've improved overall grip. All of these tools would allow you to be just as precise with your setup, while allowing people who are unfamiliar with suspension geometry to get a baseline understanding more quickly.

I like the approach in Project CARS 2. In menus you choose the kind of the problem - braking, downforce, suspention and gearing. After that you choose what is the behavior of the car and the game makes suggestion what settings to be applied to it. This feature is called Race Engineer. I hope something like this will be implemented in the game.

They switched from Unreal 5 to building a graphic engine from scratch, one of the main reasons was VR support (which is a nightmare on Unreal as they said). So we expect an improved VR support on this new game

There is one thing I have always wanted in a modern racing game that Live For Speed did back in the day. A overview of all your driven distance and fuel burned while driving. I think this is a fantastic statistic to have and look at. In Live For Speed I have driven 170138km and burned 58690 liters of fuel. Why more games don't have this is very interesting to me. Car people love statistics.

I'm a big fan of the Nürburgring, i live in germany, i've been there multiple times and its my most driven track in every racing game i play. The open world is exactly what i needed because it does not only bring the excitement and beauty of the track itself but also everything around it! And this with sim physics and more is honestly what i've been waiting my whole live for. Im so excited to play it and also the other tracks

I’m quite excited. I’ve heard a lot of good things, I like AC1 and I think ACC is good. Though for me ACC was too focused and lacked further diversity, which is a completely fine thing for a game! Unfortunately for me, the focus of ACC didn’t have much of what I personally enjoy. I’m sure I would’ve loved it if I found the focus more intriguing. Merry Christmas, can’t wait to see what the kitchen has cooked up!

Yeah, acc had 2 pitfalls: the lack of diversity and the braking system. Maybe the unreal engine with all its quirks can be counted as one too but that's not entirely on kunos. AC's strength was diversity. It took 3 clicks to race a vintage car around modern day Spa or a modern hypercar on a rally stage

BEST DRIVING SIM EVER. You guys are legends. It's already great as is! I've never felt connected to the car the way I do in AC Evo. I can't wait for the open world map and I hope more will follow as DLC.
