I’ve been diagnosed with lifelong Bipolar Type 1. But what on earth is that? Here, I explain what it is and what it’s like living with this mental health condition.

Wow! Thank you for this! We need more raw and honest videos out there, so well done for braving it. Having struggled with my own mental health for almost 3 decades (PTSD from childhood trauma, depression and anxiety, eating disorders), I’ve seen the harsh stigma attached to it and in recent years seen it more normalised. I’m currently studying towards a psychology degree because I want to find ways to help people suffering with their mental health, where the system fails them. I would be interested in your book too! Thanks, Kaye x

I was the same with my diagnosis. I didn't fully embrace it until I did enough study to understand it. Thank you so much for making these videos! ❤

Keen to hear your take on keto. Also what meds you take, you're in such good shape! I eat well and exercise daily and I'm still a stone heavier than my ideal weight. Find it so frustrating.

Thank you for your comment and kind words! I’ve recently come off of medication completely, but can understand your struggles. I was on Olanzipene and it’s incredibly difficult to even maintain a weight, let alone lose weight… I’ve tried keto for a good 4-5 months, so I’ll do a video on this for you 😀 thanks again and stay strong, Mike

@@itsmikemcdonnellhow many times have you relapsed off meds and have your doctors said you're safe to come off them? I'm super keen to come off mine but just know I'm going to relapse again - I think 10times is enough to know, but equally it feels like this time will be different. Specially if keto works well.
