Coronado is awesome, and you've done a great overview. Look forward to your day on the beach when the weather allows. Check out Buenaventura as already suggested by another. Also heard that Punta Chame is good as well as some of the beaches near David.

@@KyleJessTravels Santa Clara is where my grandpa had a beach house and we used to go there every other weekend as a big happy family. GREAT memories. I love the way Jenn laughs.... hilarious. She is full of life. Y'all are very complementary. I was born and raised in the Panama Canal Zone and lived there for the first 18 years of my life until I came up to the USA to attend University. Anton, as I recollect, has great little sweet candies manufactured there by the locals - the "huevitos de leche/sugar and brown sugar with milk sweet little eggs wrapped in very colorful paper", etc. Also "suspiritos". I can't believe the main road leading into Coronado is STILL all full of potholes and totally uneven with no shoulders on either side....it was just like that in the 1980's. You would think one of the many muti-millionaires in Panama would pay to have an asphalt company totally repave all the roads in Coronado, proper.

Hi Yessy, thanks so much! We’re glad you’re enjoying our videos! Coronado is roughly an hour and a half away from the Tocumen Airbort, but we’ve been caught in traffic before between Panama City and Coronado. That traffic can sometimes extend that drive time by upwards of an hour… But still fairly close! We are currently in an Airbnb in a condo complex called PH Ibiza, with a few basic studio and one bedroom style apartments. However, we have extended our trip by a few days to specifically check out this cool and unique boutique hotel that is also available on Airbnb, looks awesome! We are going to be sharing that in a soon upcoming video though, so don’t want to give too much away on that just yet 😉. When are you planning on coming this way?

That’s awesome! Coronado is such an awesome little beach town, we’re loving it here and have some more videos we’re planning to share on the area soon! We are currently filming on a combination of a Canon m50 (with multiple lenses), GoPro Hero8, iPhone 11 and Mavic Mini! We edit through Adobe premier pro and after effects 🙂.

Yeah, pretty much everywhere, you’ll see them all over and we didn’t need any permit to rent it. But not sure about ownership

Hey, sorry for the delayed response! Sure you’ve already found where you’re staying, but we went with Airbnb all throughout Panama, apart from a couple of over nights in Panama City. There are some really great apartment complexes in Coronado, with awesome rates for short term/airbnb stays! We stayed a long term stay in an Airbnb, so sorry we unfortunately can’t offer much on that information, as it was all included and our nomad insurance covered the heath cost side of things.

We were just there on a limited time and so couldn't see everything. But a list is starting to form of reasons for us to go back, I'm thinking that Pedasi might be on that list 😉

What about the crime stats of Panama? I read there are parts of Panama the State Dept advises against visiting due to all the drug trafficking and crime.

We didn't have any issues while we were there and Coronado specifically is a gated community with guarded gates etc. We had heard there are some issues with theft from time to time, but nothing major and we didn't see anything in terms of heavy drug use or anything while we were in the area. That being said, we're sure some parts aren't the safest for expats and travelers, as with any country
