So glad I'm watching this. I spent years as a luke warm Catholic. I want to do what the Bible says. My church is doing a 21 day Daniel fast now. I've learned more about fasting from Pastor Isaiah and Pastor Vlad. So I'm going to just do what Jesus did and taught. No food, just water and then figure out the duration from what this video says. Wow, you spend more time planning to eat with Daniel fast than you spend time in the Bible! I can see why do a water fast! This really spoke to me as many in my bible study are doing the Daniel thing. I am doing the water and electrolytes fast. Not sure how far to go but I am going to push through.

I am a work in progress. I started fasting last spring twice a week for one meal. Still struggling with reading the Word during this time and no internet/games. Prayers are short but like I said it’s a work in progress. I have more self control than I did in the beginning and I feel closer to my Savior. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼✝️✝️❤

Praise God for you two! Thank you for being direct and really speaking to the body of Christ Jesus! I was a bit confused, when i noticed people in the american church, not fasting or just doing the Daniel fast, or fasting media! Growing up in the Hispanic congregation, i learn to fast, the biblical fast you are talking about, and it is time the church learns to be obedient and fearing the Lord Jesus, we need God moving in our lives, family, nation, souls 🙏 🔥🔥🔥🙏

I've been planning my fast and in a huge disagreement with myself on what I was going to give up. Now I know I need to give it all up and do a water fast..The words given that hit me hard was denying your flesh for your spirit! Eye opening and amazing. Thank you for your words. I’m a nursing mom going through the Daniel Fast at the moment… this is my first time “fasting”. I am so sad to hear that it’s not even going to bring me anything as I am trying to get spiritual breakthrough while nursing. 😔

A fast similar to Daniel - such as raw food is a great option for nursing and pregnant mothers

Daniel fast is even more difficult than a dry fast, personally. With Daniel fast you’re eating only vegetables so you’re constantly in a state of starvation because you don’t get full. You always have to worry about the next meal… etc it’s a no for me personally. I wouldn’t recommend ANY fast for expectant mothers.

I don't think you should fast while being pregnant,however if you are able you can do half day or two from 6 am to 12 noon including reading scriptures pertaining to the reason of the fast.

I take meds, and I have always wondered how can I fast...God brought the 'Daniel fast' to my attention a few months ago... I've never fasted, and I was thinking, ok, I can eat a bare minimum for a time...(fast) Am I suppose to not eat and not worry about what happens...

If you take medicine, possibly take one meal at a time. The Daniel fast is not a fast. I have low blood sugar but when I fast God levels it out and I can go 24-48 hours without food.
