I'm a life long FSU fan, I've always wondered what makes a few coaches stand out far above their counterparts. Saban, Bowden, Spurrier and Joe P to name a few. I have to say, I'm glad to see him leave, I'm tired of Bama being so damn good and causing the S.E.C to be over-rated for a few years now. I gotta give credit where credit is due, Saban will be/is legendary

When you think Alabama football you think of Paul Bear Bryant and Nick Saban. God bless Nick and his family and thank you for all that you’ve done for the state and University of Alabama. I know the young men that’s you’ve coached are better men because of the impact you’ve had on their lives. I think if everyone applied the “process” to anything they wanted to be good at, they’d be gear at it. The it’s the end of an era. I feel for the CRIMSON TIDE players and fans. Im a HOKIE and i feel terrible about this news. It been a honor to witness the hands down GOAT basically dominate his entire tenure. Bama needed him badly. But Coach Sayban needed Alabama to. Surely does any one think he would have done this at any other school? Possable not sure this much success though. I remember the title and the teams at LSU . Clearly he was going be really successful anywhere he walked the side line,just saying Coach Saban + Tide two powerhouse giants. I just think Coach and bama perfact marriage. And last they asked could he still purduce national championship. HECK YES he can and EVERYONE knows it. NIL and the portal. Love the NIL but portal not so much.

force him out? he had a contract until 2028. it would’ve been assumed he would just honor that contract and then retire. Paterno, Bowden, Robinson, and Snyder coached into their late 70s so Saban could be too even if the new format. they would just set up a succession plan.
