Im a current PSU student and I lived in both East and Pollock (I transferred because roomate issues) and if you're someone who hates to wake up early and walk extra, i would definitely recommend living in Pollock, its closer to the middle of campus and you're only 5 minutes from the hub (the smack dab middle) If you live in East you have to walk 15 minutes to the hub and then extra to get to your classes. East is nicer because most of it is renovated but the pollock rooms are spacier i think. If you really wanna be sorrounded by Freshmen then East is the best one because half of the freshman class is in East. :) hope this helped!

hey, im psu '24 too! so you just have to go to your web access URL and email the admissions office your psu id. then you'll have your temp psu email id number. that's how I got mine anyway.

Hey guys I’m actually one of Kayla’s friends and let just say they call me THON girl lol! But there r sooo many ways to get involved with THON! There are THON committees where u have an application and pick ur top 2 or 3 committees ur interested in and then u will have an interview but it’s very laid back and fun! Then u will get a call from ur THON captain and u will know which committee ur in. U can also get involved in THON through an organization (org) which u can find out about their meetings during the involvement fair. There are special interest orgs that strictly raise money for THON and there are other clubs that get involved with THON. In orgs most likely ur org will have a Four Diamonds family! If anyone has any other questions feel free to ask! FTK!

PSU is my dream school but I’ve been so unsure of the cost that was the only thing holding me back it made me grow particular about certain things saying to myself if it cost x much it should meet a certain standard but what if it doesn’t obviously those thought would have never been true with this school but your videos have just convinced me even more and I am dead set on going college is still a while a way for me but might as well decide now and start saving up 😂 Thank you 😊

i thought your roommate advice was great! i actually met my roommate freshman year at psu (we were random) and even though she is my best friend, it doesn't happen for everyone! i think it's good to be honest and have the hard conversations. i would also say just try not to go in with any expectations; be respectful and understanding of the other person to the best of your ability! i loved also how you talked about finding your people, I'm going to be a senior, and it probably took me until sophomore year until i really found where i fit!

Hi! As a soon to be PSU Senior, I recommend adding the second preference! I did East Renovated and then East Non-Renovated. If you only choose one then they see that as if you don't give them a second option and if your first option is full they will place you wherever there is an opening! I definitely recommend giving them both options!

Angel Seyi yes there is a scholarship included, it can range from anywhere to i think about $18k to a full academic tuition. I was lucky enough to receive a full academic scholarship! and no you do not have a choice of where you dorm, they assign it for you so that you are with other fellows of the programs.
