Good video! To the point why some use Crit Chance Triangle at CRex: Both his Basic Ability and his first special want him to crit to trigger the effect. And he has only 75% crit chance including his Unique (at R8). That's why I think it's not a bad idea to give him a Crit Chance Triangle.

If you can place Rex Captain Rex an Fives on defense. Really tough team to beat. Hera CRex an Kanan probably the best choice for a 3v3 Phoenix team but they work way better in 5v5

I use hera, Rex, Kanan in 3v3 it got me holds as high as kyber 4.

Also, remember Sabine's mods are likely affected by her datacron right now. Anyone using it would re-mod her for damage, since speed is barely necessary on her while she takes a bonus turn after every enemy turn. So don't think your mods/ preferences for her are wrong. I'll bet her mods go back to what you expect when the old Datacrons expire.

Rex likes Crit Chance primary on his triangle due to his basic. He doesn't have good base crit chance, so he needs extra through mod secondaries at least (even with Sabine's unique), to ensure his basic is doing its job.

Wild take! I definitely think its best to have Crit damage on the triangle. I have a lot of Crit chance secondaries on him and the team seems to function well.

Hey, I left the game after Malak came out and I'm trying to get back into it. I have some good stuff but in many ways I feel like my squads are outdated and do not work well anymore. I was wondering if I should farm captain Rex and gear my Phoenix up. My Phoenix is like gear 7 or 8 and has been that way ever since I did the Thrawn event back in the day when he came out. Would the team be a good investment for someone in like early midgame? Or should I focus on other stuff? Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Should Rex be a focus for a starting player as the other Pheonix members have objectives that give massive shards? Is he worth booting Zeb or Chopper if you're only using Phenoix to grab Thrawn and Palps, then moving for Commander Luke

Rex is the most important character on the whole team, you should use him for everything. That said, if you are farming him consistently and still don’t have him 5 or 7 stars by the time the rest of the Phoenix is, you may be able to unlock palp and/or Thrawn without him
